I know this isn't supposed to be funny but when he muted the call and said 🗣️for a supervisor lol i swear when ever you really need help it's never anyone in sight
True but he felt like he didn't know whether it was suicide or not however seen the recent episode so hopefully let's see how Oliver will go after knowing the fake closet
SPOILER ALERT: Oliver _and best friend copper- go looking for the teen at the school to be friend him and make him feel less alone, and ends up confusing him with someone else, before he realizes that it's actually popular football student who is the one that felt so alone and isolated. The student reveals himself to be gay in the next call he makes to the helpline and Oliver lets it slip that he knows who the student is and that they go to the same school. When the football player finds out, Oliver knows who he is, he come to the help teen help office and threatens Oliver. Oliver is supportive and tries to talk to the boy and let him know that the school, football team, and the community will support him. The boy doesn't believe him worried about the expectations put on him and leaves. The football player later makes a fake Instagram account as oliver that says that Oliver is gay. The whole school has now seen it. Oliver decides to be brave and shows the boy that it doesn't matter what people believe, and doesn't correct the rumor. At school people whisper, but for the most part are very supportive. Showing that the school and community are supportive no matter if he's gay or not. Oliver does attempt to get a few things out of the people wanting to be nice to him now that his gay, but he wouldn't be oliver if he didn't :P Eventually the football player comes out as gay, and apologizes online for making the fake account of Oliver's. Over all it's a really REALLY great episode, and storyline. I did basically just give the whole thing away, but if you get the chance to watch I would 10 out of 10 recommended. The episode sends such a powerful message and really shows Oliver's growth and goodness as a character of the show. I loved it and will probably watch again just for the heck of it.
@@torijari1 Glad I could help. :-) I hope you get to this episode soon, the show does a great way of covering the serious topic while still keeping it airy enough for the audience. I'm a huge fan of how Oliver handles the whole situation, he really takes the whole thing in strides to help the student.
He tracked them down via clues in the phone. When he found the guy, the guy was a suicidal in the closet football player. Oliver said it would be ok but the player turned around and faked outted oliver. This will be interesting given Olivers interests that are stereotypically gay (the ballet) and his sexuality being questioned repeatedly by Greg and Katie. This whole thing kinda retcons the oldest sister having a gay boyfriend who was a football player and everyone being cool about it...but they'll probably say something like one family uses as much $$$ to hide something while others use it to make their children as marketable as possible for college. But idk I can't wait for it to be addressed. Nothing so far but its gotta come up soon
The Oliver character is the main reason to watch this show 🙏
sameeeee i only saw it because of him
I want a whole series dedicated to just this character doing this job. The occasional serious calls in-between the silly calls

that is a mood I think alot of people feel the only times when you really need help no one is around in the jobs area
Apparently, the kid's acting coach has told him that every single line must sound like a radio voiceover audition.
I can see him play as Peter Parker/Spider-man
Omg yeah
He seems more like a Harry
