I am glad you are going to do more with the manticore. Very informative! It has definitely helped me out.
Thanks for watching 🧑🦯👌🏻
I’ve put 140 hours into this machine so far, had some cool stuff come up. Need to figure out a good setting for uk beach though as it hates 1-2 & 5p in the sand
Same in land , You would have to drop your first tone break very low into the iron range as modern coins are nickel /copper coated steel core so will come up as iron grunt if your tone break is high
Good video and going to be my next detector. Isn't there an XY screen also like the Deus?
More advanced than the xy, you can customise the screen to the way you want to detect and shows purity of target
Thanks for sharing
Hi Liam great videos is there any chance you could send me a up too date settings for the manticore just can’t seem to get it right any help would be great thanks…..
Forever changing but these where where I started
This 2d map was great for picking out non ferrous from ferrous, if after the easier targets then increase the lowers closer to the conductor line and same with the upper limits, the closer you get to the conductor line , the less iron you will dig but will leave behind the trickier targets that lie near iron

@@HistoryRevisiteduk thank you will give it ago ….
whats it like with the new update on,can that help with the iron falseing
yes this is the new update with no stabilizer used
Question! Does Stu still work at spin a disc, I bought my nox of him 4 yrs ago. I'm 99% going to buy the manticore and on watching this clip it's given me a good idea how to go about working the ferrous limits to suit the ground your on .il be keeping my legend and deus 1 as theyr still cracking machines.thanks for your help , much appreciated!
Not to sure bud , very fine customisation on the manticore , really enjoying learning it
did you get the manticore? how do you compare it between the Legend and deus 1?
@@mase202 never swung a deus 1 , more customisable than the legend , manticore has an expensive feel to it which corresponds to the price tag. Performance there’s not much in it . Hopefully will be update on manticore to boost the performance difference
@@mase202 I'm getting on well with the manticore especially on the beach, its definitely not an equinox, more like a ctx I'd say refering to the 2d screen for ferrous limits. It's got a better build quality than the old nox too,the ferrous limits settings are fully customisable unlike the nox which just had a few iron bias settings you can customise this machine to dig as much iron, or as little as you want. Minelab realised that good finds are getting harder to find and this machines been designed to pick the bones from the bones. All in all I'm very pleased with the way it's performing. One other thing I'd mention, it's not for a newbie detectorist or someone who ca t get his head round a top line machine,in the end settings need to be changed in the field or beach to get the best out of it.
With this setting for sure you will lose the old coins 😉
