I actually do some magnet fishing from time to time and I always wonder if there is gold in the rivers but because they are not magnetic I will never know, Metal detecting is really cool though it must be such a rush when you find a piece and best part is it detects gold haha :)

From some stupid tests and we see the result of 1.1 update. It's shit! All sounds like a iron. Iron sounds like collerful signal.

Everything you've recorded on the subject of ground balance and mineralization of soil has been so valuable to me. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. I've recently bought a Triple Score as a successor to my Simplex+, which I really do enjoy. Trying to figure out how to make the most of the Triple Score is a big challenge, but so much fun. I've only run it 15 to 20 hours so far, and though I'm settling in with it in some ways, I've got so much to learn. If you have top 3 types of advice for running the Triple Score in moderately mineralized soil (I'm going to begin manual ground balancing), I would enjoy your specific advice. 50 years of occasional detecting experiences (since the late 1960s, as a child) helps a lot, but I realize that I an experienced man such as yourself has much to teach, and could find way more than I would on the same piece of ground with the same detector. Your Legend testing should mostly apply to the Triple Score, or so I guess. Keep up the good work. Thank you, from across the pond.

Yeah you don't see many for sale second hand do you. That's a sign of a detector people hold onto knowing it's good and gets better with updates. I own one and I've had it for almost a year now. Awesome and like the previous comment it can be tweeked to master heavy iron sites and pick out them small roman coins in bad ground :)

Once mastered its the rolls Royce of detectors.

We visit the Cotswold area in mid-late September from Newfoundland, Canada. Is there an invitation hunt during that time in that area?
