A couple things in case you ever read this. First the reason for the glottal stops is people were accusing him of lip-syncing those higher notes. He has been court-ordered to stop doing this song because Vitas is threatened by Dimash's talent. Then there is an older gentleman in the audience the camera keeps finding, he has a red lanyard around his neck and at the end of the song he gave a big fist pump in approval. That was Dimash's father. Dimash didn't know he was there. Dimash said after the concert that had he known his father was there, he wouldn't have shown off so much. Oh, if you want to see Dimash way younger, he had a rock/pop band and they made a video of the boys in the band trying to attract the attention of a couple young ladies. It is fun and if I knew the name of the song I'd give it to you. But I'm sure by now that there are many videos up that inform as to his training and progression. Thanks for your reaction.

I think this was the first Dimash song I heard. I was listening to the original by Russian singer Vitas and this version was suggested by RUclips. Ok, the modulation was cool and his playful happiness in singing the song is a joy to behold. Vitas, not to be easily outdone and have all his thunder stolen by this young upstart, has reworked the song and has issued an impressive updated 2020 version.... I appreciate Dimash, but I also think Vitas deserves more international appreciation; he's a very talented, accomplished and brilliant singer and performer in his own right.
