- This is the first time I've used Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning to make potato salad.
Prep ingredients: (chop) fresh dill, celery, red onions, red potatoes (14 medium-small)
Seasonings: Hidden Valley Ranch - buttermilk, Dash Tableblend, Cayenne Pepper, salt
Other ingredients: olive oil, butter, mayonnaise
Add water to a deep pan and add a lot of salt (this will help to prevent potatoes from turning brown while getting them peeled and cubed)
Peel potatoes (adding to the salted water)
Then cube potatoes
You will notice the water turn a little cloudy. This is the starch from the potatoes. Drain the cloudy water then add fresh water-enough to cover the potatoes, then drizzle salt over the potatoes.
Boil for 30 minutes (or until soft to the touch)
Remove from burner, drain the water, (BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING THE LID BECAUSE THE STEAM WILL BURN YOU)
Add one heaping spoon of butter, add olive oil
Add desired amount of chopped celery, red onions, and dill (only need about a spoon)
Add Dash Tableblend and Cayenne Pepper (to taste)
Add a spoonful of Hidden Valley Ranch - Buttermilk
Add a few squirts of mayonnaise
Then carefully fold in all of the ingredients until well combined
VOILA! DONE! ENJOY!
REFRIGERATE UNEATEN POTATO SALAD.
Yummy
Looks delicious 😊
Oh wow. I gotta try this!
