Everyone talking about Alcaraz breaking a racquet, but the way Felix was robbed is unbelievable. It would've been easily solved by looking at the replay, why can't they do that live? They keep on replaying that last ball after the match is over, ridiculous umpire.

@@echochamber1234 lol you should get your eyes checked, he clearly shanked that ball. It first makes contact with the frame of his racquet, then it bounces on his side of the court and it goes to clip the net on the other side.

@@gvolpe87 I think you got that wrong. As an experienced tennis player I can tell you that was clearly a half volley which hit the ground first, then popped up off his racket, onto the net and over onto the opponent's side. No robbery there. Even the way he shaped his swing on that ball indicates that. And you can see that the spin generated on the ball is back-spin, if it had hit the racket first, the spin would be top-spin.

It doesn't make a difference if you're only considering the top 3. Two of them will have to be in the same half, the 3rd seed has a 50% chance of being in the same half as either the top or second seed. It doesn't matter if he is the second or third seed, he will still have the same likelihood of having one of the other two in his half, it will only change the order of which he would have to play them.

Poor loss for Alcaraz who was serving for the match in the 2nd. Looks like he's burnt out mentally after all the tough tournaments he's done in the last few weeks back to back to back. And he can't even take a bit of a break because it's USO season now. There's too many tournaments in the schedule now not giving players enough time off. No wonder there's so many more injuries and mental health issues with the players these days.
