hm. It's odd that you can't seem to balance on the rope. (maybe worth checking the controls)
And you can actually take any loot with you. Even though it looks like you drop it, the chest (or whatever) will show up to still be in your hands once you get off the rope again.
I'm loving this series so far.
Was just looking for someone to explain sea of thieves fishing to me and ended up at your videos and really enjoyed them. (plus, you did actually help me with my fishing in the last video!)

In addition to coasting with your sails instead of dropping anchor, you can fire the harpoon at land and lock the reel (with R. I believe) to help slow you down.
Also, the ship wheel will make a specific sound whenever you're pointed straight ahead. this is helpful in low visibility conditions and when you're throwing hard maneuvers in solo naval combat

Sea of Thieves is one of those games that I occasionally have an urge to return to, but when I do I find that I don't really enjoy it all that much. Though for some reason I've been enjoying videos of you learning to play the game.
