They’re very curious and very demanding of the truth. They keep asking and arguing the same Dora The Explorer paradox of what’s in their mind. We know it’s quite difficult for them to understand our faith of Islam, therefore we should give all of them spare times to learn, by using the gift from Allah (consciousness) for them to use.
There’s good in every person’s heart. We just don’t know when will it take over. it’s never too late to try, inshaallah.

It doesn't talk about the bible but about the Torah and the Gospel that have been revealed to the previous prophets.
This verse is calling the people of the book to believe in all the books,and what ALLAH has sent down on the prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him),the Quran,like the Muslims do believe.
Because denying those scriptures (Torah and Gospel)brings to kufr(كفر),disbelief because it is part of faith to believe in the books that ALLAH revealed like the prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)said in Sahih Muslim 8a and in book reference,book n°1 Hadith 1.
So it is not about bible that has been corrupted,but about the previous and original books revealed on the respective holy prophets.
Not just to believe to Torah and rejecting Gospel and Quran,or to believe to Torah and Gospel but rejecting Quran,but rather to believe to all the scriptures revealed by ALLAH because all those scriptures come from ALLAH.

@@cotdd the concept of the shahadah is in the Qur'an... To worship Allah alone and to believe that Muhammad SAW is the final prophet. This is in the Qur'an. The shahadah is declaring it out of faith and the Qur'an tells you to believe that.
The argument is, the trinity, one in three and three in one and all are coequal, is not in the Bible and we are talking about the concept... We are not talking about the word shahadah or trinity, we are talking about the concept. To say the concept of shahadah isn't in the Qur'an is silly... And it's only an argument because someone pointed out that the trinity (it's concept and foundation) isn't in the Bible. The trinity is a made-up concept that came out 300 years after Jesus from the council of Nicaea who didn't get it from the Bible... It was just made up... The shahadah came from... Muhammad.... At the time of the Qur'an's revelation... And the concept and foundation is in the Qur'an to believe in the two principles of the shahadah.
So, in reality, the question "is the shahadah in the Qur'an" is a weak response of denial (no offense) because the trinity can not be concluded from the Bible. So instead of just answering where it is in the Bible, the escape response is to say shahadah isn't in the Qur'an... That's why Bob wasn't willing to understand and answer because it's a failed cause to argue for.
