This list doesn't include the Uffizi in Italy? ::thud:: It's nice to see the USA get 4 spots, but the choices! The Met deserves it, but not the Guggenheim, Dali Museum or Denver Art. Those three could have been replaced by NY's MOMA, a Smithsonian (Air & Space Museum or Natural History Museum), the Getty Center, the Chicago Art Institute....
Louvre is big! Don´t try to see it all in one day, go to paris with time, apreciate all the beauty. I think 3 days is the right amount of time to see it all.
The Greatest Twelve for the art lovers: Louvre/Orsay (Paris) - Impressionism, Ingres, Van Gogh, Watteau and Leonardo Hermitage/General Staff (St.Petersburg) - Rembrandt, Rubens, Titian and Impressionism Vatican complex - Ancient Greek/Roman art, Raphael and Michelangelo Prado (Madrid) - Bosch, Velasquez and Goya Uffizi (Florence) - Botticelli and almost whole Italian Renaissance Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam) - Dutch Golden Age Kunsthistorische Museum (Wien) - Brueghel and anything you want National Gallery (London) - anything you want Metropolitan (NY) - anything you want National Gallery of Art (Washington) - anything you want Gemaldegalerie (Berlin) - anything you want Gemaldegalerie Alte Meister (Dresden) - several greatest masterpieces
Great choices, the architecture of these museums alone is worth a look. I'm a little surprise that the museum of civilation in hull, quebec did'nt make the list. You should google it just to look at it, it's architecture is impressive! Thanks again for a very informative video.
I miss the other guy. 25 reasons to bring him back. 25. He started the channel 24. He was able to pronounce words better 23. Everyone liked him better 22. So if the fans want him... shouldn't he care 21. His mic quality finally started to sound good 20. I'm sure he would come up with better ideas 19. He's been running the channel for quite sometime 18. Not only do we want him back, we miss him 17. Some people don't like the new guys voice 16. Speaking of voice, the original had a voice the anybody could fap to 15. Yeah... I've run out of good ideas 14. But you guys get the point
Great idea for a list.... I've only been to two of these museums. I'm a little shocked at the top 5 though. Where is the IWM in London? The Hermitage and Louvre should be higher. Can you do a list on military museums? I know its been said before but whats up with the pronounciations? Where are you from?
I don't really think these lists specifically rank everything, but just designate them numbers and count down to ensure that you actually get 25 results. Of course if it were actually ranked, the Louvre would be #1 obviously.
I think it's a shame that Italy is present in this list with only one museum wich technically is not even fully italian. What about "GALLERIA DEGLI UFFIZI"?
Riskmuseum? It's Rijksmuseum! Wanna know how to pronounce it (I know it since I'm Dutch, but since I can't explain it): translate.google.com/#en/nl/Rijksmuseum Just click on the little pronounce button at the Dutch side.
OEverettC Smithsonian Museums are not very enjoyable to me personally. Air and Space Museum is excellent, but not considered an Art Museum. Consolidation of the Corcoran Museum with the National Gallery of Art is just about completed, Corcoran Museum will be closed.
Can't agree with your statement since I've been in the Louvre and Vatican, but surprised that it was not included. I think the Pergamon was the 1st museum I visited outside the US, back in 1986.
The Pergamon Museum is not that large and only ancient Middle Eastern art. I would recommend a combined ticket for also other museums on the "museum island". The Uffizi has some of the greatest works of Renaissance art, but I think that is it. I am a bit surprised that it was not included, anyway.
Nice Video! I visited only 5 museums on the list (Guggemheim New York, Guggenheim Bilbao, Louvre, British Museum, Musée d'Orsay), but in my opinion the Museum of modern art in NY and the Tate Modern in London deserved a place in the ranking too, but there a too many beatiful museums in the world to fit them all in the list
I Don't understand the order or the lack of fantastic museums left off the list. I also don't understand the inability to pronounce correctly at least half of the places mentioned here. Otherwise it was nice to see a few museums that I haven't been to yet and will now more than likely make an effort to visit.
How can you include the Denver museum and leave out MNCARS (Museu nacional centro d'arte reina sofia) in Madrid? It houses one of the best collections of contemporary arts in the world, and has the world famous Guernica by Picasso??? Hell even the Museu Thyssen-Bornemisza deserves to be on here they have an impressive collection from Gothic period to present!
Trip advisor just named The Art Institute of Chicago as the best museum in the world. I realize these things are basically bs, and every year there is a new one, but it really is an amazing place and easily belongs pretty high up on this list.
This one may take a while since we are working on the posts for October (Halloween! YEAH, so freaking exciting!...ehem...) but, have you seen this list: list25.com/the-25-most-extreme-aquariums-in-the-world/ (25 Most Extreme Aquariums In The World).
Ah damn I was to historical museum that was across the street Museum of Natural History in Vienna we got to choose were we wanted to go although I dont regret going into Historical museum across the street seeing Museum of Natural History at 24 I really wander what is in there.
Having visited many of the museums listed I must wonder: how (the hell) did they end up with this order...
A great list, and so many more to see!
This list doesn't include the Uffizi in Italy? ::thud::

m very much happy to see it...thanks a lot
It is one of the best RUclips vedio I have ever watched.
Awesome video. Keep up the good work.
new list25 guy you are one of the best youtubers i,ve ever seen
thanks for the great information
Another amazing vid keep it up
Visited 4 of these (Guggenheim NYC, British Museum, Metropolitan Museum NYC, Rijksmuseum) + going to visit Louvre in the near future.
As a French, I wish you a great visit... If you can handle it however, avoid visiting during the weekend!
I've been all over the world, I know NOT to visit anything tourist-y during peak season or weekends, unless it's the only time when it's available.
toheed5: I haven't. Closest to Saudi Arabia that I've been is Israel.
I'm so jealous!! I'm only 27 but gimme these culture soaked museums over getting drunk in Ibiza ANY day #culture
Louvre is big! Don´t try to see it all in one day, go to paris with time, apreciate all the beauty. I think 3 days is the right amount of time to see it all.
Awesome museums😃
I've visited the louvre, British, Vatican, acropolis, and the Islamic art museums. I hope to visit the other ones on the list
The Greatest Twelve for the art lovers:
Louvre/Orsay (Paris) - Impressionism, Ingres, Van Gogh, Watteau and Leonardo
Hermitage/General Staff (St.Petersburg) - Rembrandt, Rubens, Titian and Impressionism
Vatican complex - Ancient Greek/Roman art, Raphael and Michelangelo
Prado (Madrid) - Bosch, Velasquez and Goya
Uffizi (Florence) - Botticelli and almost whole Italian Renaissance
Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam) - Dutch Golden Age
Kunsthistorische Museum (Wien) - Brueghel and anything you want
National Gallery (London) - anything you want
Metropolitan (NY) - anything you want
National Gallery of Art (Washington) - anything you want
Gemaldegalerie (Berlin) - anything you want
Gemaldegalerie Alte Meister (Dresden) - several greatest masterpieces
The louvre is amazing, I spent a good 6 hours in there looking at the masterpieces and the mona lisa was a plus also
Are you planning to go back?
I want to visit every single one of these museums. I Absolutely love the natural history museum in New York it was a great place!
Great choices, the architecture of these museums alone is worth a look. I'm a little surprise that the museum of civilation in hull, quebec did'nt make the list. You should google it just to look at it, it's architecture is impressive! Thanks again for a very informative video.

Maybe not 25 reasons, but good enough
Are you joking? the other guy mispronounced words frequently ... although I did find it rather charming.
Hola Juan! Listening to the background music urged me to ask you: "Do you happen to have any Grey Poupon?" Great video as always! Cheers!
The image at 7:46 is actually the Contemporary Art Museum in Denver, not the Denver Art Museum.
Interesting list. I would add the Field Museum and London's National Gallery.
You have a really nice voice, nice video!
Love you guys ❤️
Awww Thank you Boom! :)
The Smithsonian should have been on this list. Lump them all in as one.
Great idea for a list.... I've only been to two of these museums. I'm a little shocked at the top 5 though. Where is the IWM in London? The Hermitage and Louvre should be higher. Now I want to go to Florida! J'adore Dali!
GREECE 🇬🇷❤️🇬🇷❤️
Some real impressive museums
I think it's a shame that Italy is present in this list with only one museum wich technically is not even fully italian. What about "GALLERIA DEGLI UFFIZI"?
That #3 was so cool 0_0
Amazing!

No Chicago Museums?
Gonna visit them all..
one day..
Mad Scientist what about the forbidden city in China or any other museums in Japan??? You kidding?!
What about the Smithsonian Air and Space museum? It is the most visited museum in the world.
i think wherever you read that was talking about the smithsonian as a whole and this list doesnt have "most visited" as a crieteria
I was also wondering what happened to the Smithsonian
The most visited museum in the world is the Louvre (Paris).
OEverettC Smithsonian Museums are not very enjoyable to me personally. Air and Space Museum is excellent, but not considered an Art Museum. Consolidation of the Corcoran Museum with the National Gallery of Art is just about completed, Corcoran Museum will be closed.
Visited many of them but they all paled beside the Pergamon Museum in Berlin.
Can't agree with your statement since I've been in the Louvre and Vatican, but surprised that it was not included. I think the Pergamon was the 1st museum I visited outside the US, back in 1986.
Many of them pale compared to the Uffizi Gallery, in Florence, Italy.
The Pergamon Museum is not that large and only ancient Middle Eastern art. I would recommend a combined ticket for also other museums on the "museum island".
The Uffizi has some of the greatest works of Renaissance art, but I think that is it. I am a bit surprised that it was not included, anyway.
I'm shocked to see the Smithsonian isn't there. I wanna go there so bad, its totally on my bucket list!
I commented about the speed and i want to thank you cuz it is mutch betther :)
Some of these are actually pretty awesome looking, when I can travel I'm gonna have to make arrangements haha
You definitely should do that. I've been to a few of these and I am SO glad I did. They're amazing!
The Getty in Los Angeles is quite impressive.
I was at the Vatican city & musem two years ago, It was one of the most beautiful places i ever been ^-^
I don't know why so many people dislike museums
How do chicago's museums compare to these?
Ahem, The Art Institute of Chicago.
New microphone? Sounds a lot better
where is Te Papa museum? located in wellington New Zealand the biggest museum in the southern hemisphere.
I think the pronunciation should be "soul". great vid. Keep it up :)
Missing Chicago and D.C
What about the museum of civilizations in hull Quebec Canada ???
please make a similar list, just with libraries. ;)
please give me the title of the music please. . thnx.
The British museum is awesome. It's free
Been to five of these and I'm only 16. The best I believe is the british museum or the louve.
I Don't understand the order or the lack of fantastic museums left off the list. I also don't understand the inability to pronounce correctly at least half of the places mentioned here. Otherwise it was nice to see a few museums that I haven't been to yet and will now more than likely make an effort to visit.
Ya if id go to Amsterdam. I would totally go to museum :))
No mention of The Vasa warship in Stockholm, Sweden. Best I’ve been to.
I think the Lamborghini museum in Italy should be on this list
What about the Forbidden Palace Museum?
You forgot my pants!
Why did you include the Salvador Dalí Museum of Saint Petersburg instead of the Salvador Dalí Museum in Figueres, his homeland?
Egyptian and proud.
Trip advisor just named The Art Institute of Chicago as the best museum in the world. I realize these things are basically bs, and every year there is a new one, but it really is an amazing place and easily belongs pretty high up on this list.
Top 25 largest Aquariums please
This one may take a while since we are working on the posts for October (Halloween! YEAH, so freaking exciting!...ehem...) but, have you seen this list: list25.com/the-25-most-extreme-aquariums-in-the-world/ (25 Most Extreme Aquariums In The World).

What is the Canadian American, mentioned in #19?
Some folks are duel citizens, but I've never heard the term "Canadian American".
Because Canada is in North America. He is correct, but it is uncommon to say "Canadian American"n
Isn't Cambodia one of the most dangerous places to go to? I guess going to the Cambodian museum would be a one way trip!
No Imperial War Museum or any of the D-DAY museums,I haven't heard of half of the place near the end.
Perhaps you should have split this category up, top 25 art museums and top 25 non-art museums!!!
Sadly no mention of the Natural History Museum in London.
