The TALON on that old suitcase was the brand of zipper. Vacuumed out, that would be a great Fall decorating piece.
I found some a talon suitcases online but none like that. I thought of the Talon zippers tool

@@jodeeclarklompa852 yes and my husband and I quit going out to dinner on Saturdays and we go to estate sales. We usually have two to four a weekend and the prices are usually good.
@@ritastutler1470 I love a good estate sale or a church rummage sale. The church around the corner from me had a sale the Sunday before the 4th and for less than $5 I walked away with a box full of extraordinary goodies. Enjoy your weekends with your husband!

Those floral prints, the first 2 my Mom had in her house. She is gone now but I remember them. She was married in 1945. What great memories. U find such great things.

Hi Julie, love your videos I believe that the talon name on the zipper is the name of a zipper company not the name of the luggage, love the luggage, but have to find someway to get rid of the dog hair. Love all your videos. Just wish they were longer keep up the good work I’ll continue to watch.

Hey Julie, you could take a picture of those water mart florals with your phone camera and then just print them out and whatever paper you want and probably wouldn’t even see the watermarks
Plus, you could print them any size you wanted

That lamp/wire basket. my grandpa had an egg business and those baskets are what he used to gather the eggs from all the nesting boxes every day
I have just recently fell in love with miniatures and dollhouse so that wonky wooden house would have been perfect to fill up with teeny tiny things!!

Love the haul today! I think you should keep the light fixture in that blue wire basket - you just need to put in an Edison lightbulb and you are all set! Great in a farmhouse style kitchen!😁
Louis Vuitton used Talon zipper before 1980.
Checked it out, and that zipper appears to be from the early '30's to mid-late ;30's.
Talon is the for the zipper only. That was a neat suitcase-better after a vacuum and cleaning. Beautiful shelf!
That odd rolling pin thing,the things poking out,well the 1 is a circle stop for a wine bottle.
And the old square leather box is a old old old brush set that people would have had on the dressing table many years ago,that one was probably a man's one, a suit brush, hair brush and comb,perhaps a mirror, I have my great grandma's one 😊. They are so precious & beautiful. I think someone made the blue basket into a lampshade as it has the handle still on it. Some great finds.

NICE FINDS !!!! I had to laugh at the suitcase with animal hair. My Maine Coon Cats THINK THEY OWN EVERYTHING IN MY HOUSE! I guess I just rent for them😂😂😂😂😂 They turn everything into a bed !!! They love the UPS and FedEx deliveries 😹😹😹😹

OK, I just went to the bins in my area, which is an hour and a half away in Ft. Worth TX. OHMYLANTA!! I now see what all the fuss is about!!! I got 48# and it was $1.79/lb. My friend only got 14 lbs., she was looking at my cart and saying, gosh do you need another cart? I wanted one, but it was probably best for my husband's blood pressure if I didn't!! He was like, what did you buy for that much money at goodwill???!!!! I told him, that what I got for less than $100 would have cost way more at a regular Goodwill. He said I am limited to going to the bins once a YEAR!!!! Who does he think he's kidding ???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love all your finds. That shelf. If I were their I would have bought it too. That little house at the beginning that was a bit wonky. I would have gotten it painted it black for to us in a Halloween decor spot. I also love some milk glass. I collect it. Glad you picked up that wire basket lamp. And that plaid suit case I would have cleaned up and structured it up to use as a table. Also someone may have tried to make it into a dog bed.

OMG! I almost died when I saw the mannequin. I’ve been looking online to buy one for my booth because there is sooooooo much you can do with them.😢 BTW, do you pay by the pound for items without a price sticker? (I heard you mention they weigh the clothes but I don’t recall you mentioning the baskets, pictures, pitchers, etc) Thanks for sharing….your GW’s are so organized and have great items!
