I love how you can find actual footage of these things
Glad you noticed..well my channel originally started with finding and posting the original and rare video reels. So i have tons of footage. I do try to go with the real thing whenever it's possible.
But i do need to look through hours and hours of reels to collect the footage for one video like this. There's usually more that doen't make it in these videos
Do LVTs Amtracks WWII to Today LVTs.
The boat cars
As a Kid in 1960s TV Show Called "Passage to Adventure" GPA Jeep Went Around the World.
The Soviets via Lend-Lease got 3,520 Ford GPAs. They liked it so much that after the war they copied it as GAZ-46, correcting many issues of the original.
Thanks for the video! The GPA looks far too small to be useful... other than ferrying around a small number of personnel like a Kettenkrad.
Always glad if you guys like the videos. Indeed it was too small...they actully developed a trailer for it so it can carry more in water.
Ride the dukw ....at Wisconsin Dells
