  • Cover of French band Space song from 1977.
Started by jamming with Jupiter-4 plug-out on Roland System-8. Made a flute-like sound and it reminded me about this song and it grew from there.
Other instruments used: B. model D, Roland JX-08, Alpha juno 2, Casio CZ-5000, B. monopoly, Yamaha TX7, Logan String melody II.
Drums from VST(Linn), Choir sound - familiar ? Arturia mellotron VST, perhaps originally Orchestron sound reused several times since.

This song ignited my passion for electronic music when I was 11 years old. Great cover! By the way, I am also a happy owner of the Roland System-8....

Thanks. This is also one of my favorite together with popcorn, oxygene pt. 4 and Kraftwerk radioactivity+robots to name a few. I'm also happy with System-8, you get a lot out of it especially for the price I paid for it used. I just wish Roland would have added aftertouch and a bit more robust midi implementation (it's too easy to crash it requiring power cycle to recover by sending too much)

@@noiseofketo Yesterday I listened and liked all your videos (and subscribed to your channel, of course). There is one in particular that I liked, but I can't remember the title. I'm going to listen to it again now and leave a comment....
I bought the Roland System-8 new 4 years ago. I have been largely satisfied with it. From my point of view the lack of aftertouch is not its worst defect. I think in the end what it really lacks is a second LFO. Also, it would not have been bad to have a modulation matrix. In any case, it remains a very good synth. Of the 3 original plugouts, I replaced the JX-3P with the Juno-60, which sounds very fat and different than the Juno-106 plugout.
I was also tempted by the Jupiter-4....
