LNER K1 62005 on a Photo Charter at the Great Central Railway - 14/01/2020

  • During it's visit to the Great Central Railway for the Winter Steam Gala, LNER Class K1 62005 took part in several Timeline Event photo charters. This video captures the first of the TLE days on Tuesday 14th January 2020 with the loco on carmine and cream Mk1s.
    Shots are taken along the line at Beeches Road, Quorn, Rabbits Bridge, Quorn approach and Kinchley Lane.

    I’m off to Keighley & Worth Valley Railway tomorrow where their are running the BR Standard Class 2 78022.

    A very nice video, like the P/W gang (1950s) I doubt that a locomotive carrying a Stirling Shed plate would have ventured so far south in the day.

    Not sure i'd trust that pway gang with any line over 25mph haha
