    Maybe you engraved on 2 different materials, but to me the original photo before edits looks better than the edited one at the end of the video.

    a quick way to set the curve is to set the gamma to 3.5

      Thanks! We've used JobControl Software (not LaserWork). We've used our Trotec Speedy 360 80w laser with settings of 100power and 90 speed. Thanks!

    Would these instructions work for black anodized aluminum? With the main difference being inverting the image. Thanks!

    So you don’t have to convert it to a bitmap before printing? Our engraver will not print if it’s not converted to bitmap through Corel first. It will send the job, and when i hit “go” on the laser, it just beeps immediately saying “done”. Or am I doing something wrong?

      Hi Robert, what file type is your original file? What laser do you have?

    • @cracked302
      @cracked302 5 лет назад

      Trotec Canada using standard images from phone. So I’m assuming jpeg. Also using a epilog helix 80w

    • @TrotecLaserCanada
      @TrotecLaserCanada  5 лет назад

      @@cracked302 unfortunately we can't speak directly to that brand of laser. For our lasers you can engrave from JPEG when you import into Corel/Illustrator and then print-to-drive, you don't have to convert to bitmap.

      Trotec Canada well that’s unfortunate

    Thanks for this! How would you apply this process when using a color photo? Thank you

      You have to turn the photo into greyscale, then black & white with the instructions in this video.

  • @DeathsUnion
    @DeathsUnion 5 лет назад

    What if you want to capture more greys to allow for more detail?

    • @TrotecLaserCanada
      @TrotecLaserCanada  5 лет назад

      In that case you won't convert to black-and-white and just keep it as greyscale and print the job as "relief mode" - similar to what we do in 3D engraving.

    What is speed and power for cnc machine plz help

    Great video very helpful. I use photoshop to edit my photos. I use a speedy 300, after editing my image to maximize detail when i do a test print of around 5inches x 6inches i get the details in the photo but when i blow it up the the actual size 20inch x 16inch i loose detail. Would you happen to know what might be the cause of that. If it makes a difference the material i use is 1/4inch burch

    i have a question
    can i aplicated that into leather laser engrave

    • @TrotecLaserCanada
      @TrotecLaserCanada  4 года назад

      Yes, for thick raw hide pig skin. Anything thin, the leather would shrink up from the heat. You can see photo engraving on leather in this video: ruclips.net/video/JxuPc0-ueCE/видео.html on min 2:11
