Thank you, I did this with Vinyl Lattice Cap so I could skip the router piece. I used angle brackets, screws and super glue to hold the frames together. Since my house is white no paint was required. I love the way they look.
That looks really good. If I had the tools I might consider that. I just hot glued my lights to brick, it stuck really well and when you take em down the glue just snaps off the brick no problem. But these frames seem worth it in the long run because they'll save A BUNCH of time
I am in the middle of making these but a little different. I found "Dimensions™ plastic lattice caps" these are plastic and have the trenches pre-cut so all you do is the angles (Lowes item 602653 )

Thank you sooooooooo much, I'm going to try this over Thanksgiving weekend, I have to make four frames so thank goodness.

Love it! Best idea I have seen. Thanks for creating this video and sharing with us.
I googled "how to build a frame for outdoor christmas lights" and this was the first result. Great video!
Awesome! Thank you!
That was a very helpful and informative video to watch. Thank you! I will be making these next season. 👍👍

Thanks, It makes them look perfectly straight!
Excuse me sir you have two green burnt out light bulbs in your set.
That looks terrible.
