You make too much unneccesary moves, yes.. the only thing that matters is that you win, I know, but you DON'T need to buff defense when it's already on 60, or do swift slash when they are below 20% hp, just go full blown with seiken or judgment. I guess it's to extend the battle for the hype, but still. I see so many unneccesary moves in which if the AI actually was smart, would of murdered you already. But overall, a good battle.

For me, it's saving limit breaks for boss battles (in most cases); in an entirely different series of a different genre (the Descent trilogy), I seem to have problems with trying to conserve all my missiles for no reason, even the ridiculously common ones!
it's normal.....sometimes u had to sacrifice a limit break turn for survival true story i only use limit breaks buffs more than damage ones as for matt i only used like 3 cleavers during the whole battle

Why are you using Swift Slash? I realize Legend isn't really viable in an extended battle for obvious reasons, but I'd bet Holy Sword does more damage.

What's the lowest optimal level to fight them? I'm level 33 and even with high defense armor and plenty of status resistance, 90% of their attacks one shot me :l
I think due to how scaling works higher level is still better. You can take more hits if you are at a higher level. The problem is, so can the enemies.

Swift slash is used to spread status, not deal damage. Also legend IS viable so long as you remove the debuffs.
