Kie’s interactions with Topper are fucking hilarious this episode 😂 Also, as much as the Jiara scenes hurt this episode, I love the angst. It makes sense that JJ would act this way. I like getting to see more of Kie/Sarah and JJ/John B’s friendships this season as well.

I get no one likes Kie’s parents (neither do I) but JJ stealing from her dad does need to be talked about not brushed over … That’s still her parents after all of this blows over so JJ needs to apologize for it before trying to move things forward with Kie.
John B is definitely selfish in a lot of ways … He can ruin his friend’s party, be an ass to Sarah etc… but wants everyone to jump through hoops for his big sweaty daddy? PLS

I agree with you. Kiara sometimes doesn't get what she deserves from both the Pogues and viewers.
She's the one who didn't even need the treasure and really only took part out of pure friendship. And what she has already done for her friends, from season 1. And I think John B in particular often takes the actions of his friends and girlfriend for granted. And how much hate she got back then for screaming "murderer". Yes it was stupid but people always acted like she was the one responsible for something not working in season 2. I love JJ but if anyone's good at screwing things up it's him. and people love him for that, but not her.

I loved this video ! Jj is self sabotaging thinking he is not worthy of kiara . I felt for kie she was being vulnerable and understanding of jj . Topper was egging on John b knowing he would punch him . Pope and Cleo are so cute and unproblematic!siri interrupting u every time gets me laughing 😂
I always understand your reaction best. I hate it when things go wrong with the Pogues, try to defend their behavior as best I can, but when they screw up, they screw up. My Jiara heart was broken in this episode, I know why JJ acts like that but he hurt Kiara. He can be glad that she is so patient with him.
I loved the scenes with Kiara and Sarah and JJ and John. And low key, Topper and Kie were so funny. The fact that Sarah cheated on John B bothers me a lot, something like that doesn't fit into obx for me either. but at least they sort of talked about it, like Pogue's style. Cleo and Pope really live their lives. They are so lucky to be able to do their own thing and be happy.

This is what is bothering me though. People are acting like John b over did it either beating up topper. Like hello????? Topper threw him off the hawks nest in season 1, and nearly drowned him at the bonfire in the pilot, then after getting with his girl says no hard feelings bro. Like wtf?if you ask me the only mistake John b made was doing it at the party and in a public space. But the fact that people actually say he did to much really bothers me, topper deserved it! And also John b just can’t catch a break, I bet you if he hadn’t done that everyone would say he’s a wimp and should’ve beat his ass. So I feel like for whatever reason no matter what John b does it’s always wrong. And the fact that people are actually condoning Sarah’s cheatin because of what John b says baffles me! Like if John be did that he would be canceled!
I'm glad that for at least one of the Pogues something went right.😅 Come on Pope!💪

I don't necessarily disagree with your sentiment to her actions, but things aren't usually that black and white. Good people do bad things when they're hurt sometimes without realising the damage they cause. That doesn't make those actions even remotely okay, nor does it excuse it whatsoever.
But I do think, in most cases, there's a lot going on inside people that we can't see, and even though they need to face the consequences of their actions, that doesn't mean they don't deserve to forgive themselves.
Hopefully you'll react to season 2 of Shadow and Bone when you have the time, your reactions to season 1 were some of my favorites 🥰

kiara isn’t really “on the kook side” she’s just trying to make amends with her parents because their relationship isn’t great. when jj asked her about the south america thing she signaled to her parents and said “i cant.” she’s trying really hard with them but they’re still assholes to her and her friends

This episode was messy. I loved watching your reaction though. I had the exact same mixed feelings about the whole Sarah, Topper, John B situation. It's like, yeah, Sarah was wrong for hooking up with Topper and John B has every right to be upset about that, BUT, he was out of line too for straight up gaslighting her and making her feel crazy, literally on purpose. That was literally the cause for Sarah cheating (because of the place it put her in mentally and because she had nowhere to go but to Topper). I'm not saying it's John B's fault, cause it's not, but I hate how he's pretending like he did nothing wrong.
Another thing I found weird was how Topper is all like "I mean we aren't public" as if they're even officially a thing? Like, sir, you have a girlfriend. Why are they acting like they're now in some sort of relationship and not like it was just a mistake.
And then John B hitting Topper is just wrong, but it wasn't all him either, because Topper 100% knew what he was doing when he said that, but still John B should never have let himself be baited by that and punching someone who's down is so wrong. But it causes so many issues and I really hated that. It felt like so much unnecessary drama and I hate how Sarah and John B were driven apart, once again, by the writers. It makes their relationship and the whole "I'd die for you" vibe they had in the start much less believable. So much for being married, right?
That was my rant for the day :) Can't wait to see you watch the rest of the show!

@@HazelAmarie Yeah, I just hate that they wrote that in. It didn't feel like anything their characters from the first season would do either. Like it was just for drama, but it was really at expense of the characters and their relationship.

that Wheezie audio sounded so fake and forced but also I love how kie rather argue with jj rather than not talking to jj at all like she loves his so much and the way kie knew automatically jj was there bc she saw John b so she was looking for him just ughh and the scene with them like you can tell he didn’t mean what he said he only keeps saying this because he feels like he’s not worthy of her love and that he’s not good enough for her bc he isnt used to being loved like that in romantic relationship and in regular relationship when it comes to his parents he’s not used to someone actually loving him and he’s also has people taking down on him like his dad and even kies dad that’s also why he feels unworthy. Also all of kie scenes with topper have been hilarious, “yep party city”😂😂😂 we live for Kie and Sarah friendship I seeing them hangout more. I was lowkey mad at the scene in the restaurant with kie and Sarah because they weren't like kissing or anything they were just grabbing food like..first my girl Sarah is homeless...HOMELESS.! John B is going through a lot I get it I do but he didn't have to do Sarah so bogus she gave up so much for him and the pogues..and he just disses her..she goes to kie and kies parents kick her out. She probably hasn't eaten in the longest and Topper offered her some breakfast like let Sarah eat.!! This girl is probably starving. Like she could use Topper to get his truck for the pogues benefit but she can't use him for her own benefit and get some free food.! Lmfao.!😂😂

@@daurydavis3983 she gotta do what she gotta do to survive. Their pogues they legit do that. Any means necessary to survive and that's what she's doing. She's using the resources she has and having Topper wrapped around her finger and obsessed with her is a resource. That's why they had her flirt with him to get his truck. So she used it to get a meal maybe a roof over her head..also it's nice to have someone who cares when your friends are doing their own thing and forget to help you out. Topper is a shitty human being but he is good to Sarah so she used that to her advantage

@HazelAmarie actually never said it was just her thing and I'm not saying her cheating wasn't bad and John B had his share of shitty behavior as well like Adam said they are still just kids making mistakes. But dam no one knew kie was in a camp until later in the episode and jj was closer to help her then they were so they waited..at least kie had jj to come help her. Sarah didn't really have anyone except Topper at the moment. No one is to blame for that but don't act like Sarah didn't struggle this season.

Like you, I understand Sarah in some ways but hooking up is a little too much. I would get some day off with kooks etc. And yes, John b's line about his dad being kidnapped was unnecessery but I get it his reaction in 99%. I agree that Sarah has gone through a lot but personally I’m not excusing her actions for cheating because yes they are teenagers but that really breakers trust and I don’t blame John B, but I am low key pissed of at the writers for making Sarah do that in the show it was unnecessary. When I was watching through it I actually kinda just wanted them to stay broken up, I wish they didn’t do that to Sarah’s character man…😡. I still am fine with Sarah as a character I guess but not being with John B it’s toxic just cheating then *spoiler alert* getting back together instantly. Sorry for going on a rant but for someone with parents who have cheated on each other it really causes trust issues and I just can’t believe it would go smooth after getting back together. But I still like both characters just not together you know.
Okay look I get that both John B and Sara have gone through things and while I do sympathize with Sara I am only sympathetic to an extent because no matter which way you put it like she has family issues and stuff the principal of it is she cheated and I feel like that can’t be excused by saying that she is going through stuff and John B has also gone through a lot of things and he’s never cheated on her and I still love Sara but man I just wish they didn’t keep putting her in the same storyline over and over again she gets mad at John B and then she goes running to Topper like there are thousands of other storylines you could explore with her family issues like the scene she had with award this episode was so good like do more of that and less of pointless Topper shit because we all know the writers are never going to go through with her ending up with Topper their eventually going to put her back with John B.
