Do you use a sealant after the gold leaf has been placed and finished? If so which one? I was told by someone to use a sealant but I'm not sure which one to use.

Thanks! I’m not sure.. I’ve never tried other types of glue. I use Fimo, Size for leaf metal 🙂
How the colour is getting spreaded?? 🤔 Have u wet the the sheet or hv u mixed something in colour, please share I wanna learn it.
I just used a straw and blew the watercolour in the direction I wanted it to go. You have to use a lot of water. I didn’t water the paper before because I didn’t want the paint to spread. I hope that helped 😊

No I didn’t use varnish. I just framed it when it was done 😊

Lauranne CB I haven’t noticed any change but I haven’t been working with it for long enough to spot a big change in colour 😊

I wish when people are making videos about using imitation gold leaf they'd say in the description that it's not "gold leaf" but imitation. When you're trawling around looking for instruction on the real thing, it's irritating to be led into a blind corner so often.
English is not my first language and that’s what I thought it was called so sorry about that. Hope you find “the real thing” somewhere else 👍🏼
