  • Excerpt from "Comes The Inquisitor" Babylon 5 s02e21
    Season 2 Episode 21
    scene participants:
Bruce Boxleitner as Capt. John Sheridan
    Mira Furlan as Delenn
    Wayne Alexander as Sebastian
It has been a bit since I uploaded a piece of B5. Here is another scene I absolutely adore.
It has always amazed me how a bunch of "nobodies" can act so well. You can see their maturity form season to season. After just a handful of episodes, you can see how quickly they get into their beats and work well together. We have lost so many of them, and I miss each and everyone. I was fortunate to have met them all in my lifetime through conventions and chance run-ins in theaters or other places. I almost never got to meat Andreas Katsulas, but he was here in Las Vegas for a thing about mobsters. II enjoyed his roles in B5 and outside. The last I got to meet was Jerry Doyle, just a handful of months before he went beyond the rim.

One of the best moments in a show with a plethora of excellent moments.

The actress that played Delen was fantastic.

Damn if they made a Warhammer 40k live action series, he would make a great Inquisitor.

Wayne Alexander was one of the best actors on the show and yeah, he would. Dude's 81 now, though...maybe if it happened 20ish years ago ;)

@@JamesRichardsPlays ??? You *do* know Harlan helped make B5 a reality, right? And was one of J. Michael Straczynski's best friends, to the point that JMS is now the executor of his estate?
Point Todd here was making is that the writing here heavily reminds them of Harlan's.

@@Ostermond I see. And yes, I was aware of Ellison's relationship with JMS. Unfortunately, I've never been able to be reminded of a writer over the content of an episode. I am pretty sure Ellison didn't write for B5. I could be wrong. My interest is more on the lore, technology and in universe history. Somehow backscene and technical aspects are not that high on my knowledge interests.
Also, just poking fun. Another video I had and several Facebook posts have on word or statements similar in opposition to an argument that never goes anywhere beyond me asking to elaborate. And since Ellison wrote my favorite Star Trek TOS episode "The City on the Edge of Forever" (the only technical trivia that has managed to stick with me), I thought it fitting to bring up Ben Bova as he was the only name I actually recalled off the top of my head as a writer for Star Trek TNG.
I also haven't had the chance to read Ellison's other novels. Yet. I just got a nice sized box of sci-fi novels and the seller says Ellison is in there.

@@JamesRichardsPlays Harlan Ellison was the voice of Sparky the Computer in "Ceremonies of Light and Dark." And he wrote "A View from the Gallery" and "Objects in Motion."

@@lennierofthethirdfaneofchu7286 The more you know! Like I said in previous posts, I am not much into the background of the episodes. Just a lore buff and such.
