Consider this case. One Private college is allotted in Tentative allotment.
Accept & Upward movement option is given. Visited the TFC centre and paid the tution fees also.
In the 13th day, If government college is allotted due to the upward movement.
Now what happen to the excess fees? Government College tution fees is less than private college fees. How can we get those excess fees?
The remaining fees will be refunded.

DEAR SIR,NOW GENERAL ACADEMIC COUNCELLING IS POSTPONED AWAITING NEET RESULTS,I LIKE TO CLARIFY WITH YOU THAT WHETHER, THE CUT OFF LEVEL WILL BE REVISED BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF QUITING OF NEET STUDENTS.CAN WE EXPECT THE LOWER LEVEL FIRSTROUND 184.505 WILL BE REVISED AND COME DOWN?
Last year 700 seats in top colleges lapsed because of NEET students. So definitely there will be an impact for first round students. Cutoffs will reduve.
But round 1 cut off wont change.

As per your statement the un filled seats (selected by Students) after giving upward movement, at the end of 14th day of every round will be considered as lapse seats and they won't move to next round. Will it applicable for govt colleges too? Minister says that last year 600 seats in Anna University alone vaccant. To avoid this we have introduced new rules. What does it mean?

Please refer tnea guidelines page no 5 and point 12. As per this at the end of supplementary counseling the vaccant seats will be declared as lapsed seats. Private colleges will fill them as management quota. In govt colleges they left as vaccant seats.
