My analytics are showing that the state parks videos are getting a bump from the algorithm as of recent. If you somehow found this, feel free to subscribe, as I will likely not be posting MCC content and will probably post one of these videos every year. Totally up to you.

My family is visiting Iowa for the first time to visit my brother who lives in Cedar Rapids. I love checking out National or State Parks whenever traveling, and I had been looking at Maquoketa to see the caves, my brother recommended Palisades-Kepler, but now after watching your video I think if the caves are closed, Cedar Rock might be fun day trip to see a FLW home (and get some food and a beer at the river deck of Wolfeys Wapsi Outback in Quasqueton?). I haven't watched your entire video yet, so I am still checking different parts out. Thanks for putting this video together!

@@chriserickson7559 no problem. Glad you found it helpful. If you have limited time, Wapsipinicon will really give you a good perspective on what the whole state of Iowa is like in just one park. Palisades is also super close to CR, so I feel like it would be a no brainer to not hit it.

Visit the Arkansas State parks if you get down that way I would be interested in how they are ranked.

It'll be a while before I get to Arkansas, but it will eventually happen. I'm doing Missouri this coming summer, and if things go according to schedule, I'll do Arkansas in 2033. I've looked at your parks though, it looks like you have some good ones!

Thanks for the. Just wondering if you have explored Decorah, Iowa in general. Beautiful landscape, bluffs and valleys. I can't hike anymore but no doubt there has to be major treasures in the town/area. People that visit are stunned that it's part of Iowa. Just don't want you to miss it. Good day.

I have driven through Decorah, but I never got a chance to explore it. It's on my list for sure. I know Dunnings Spring Park is a big thing for the area, and they also have an Ice Cave park I believe. The driftless area is definitely one of the best parts of Iowa that's for sure.

@@ARandomDonut For sure! Well worth your time. I hate shopping but ladies love the downtown area. Highlandviile is such a magical area with the trails and trout streams!
