Enjoyed your video and all of your finishes. Thanks so much for the great job you did on the newsletter. So wonderful to have a newsletter editor again.
Loved all of your videos. Sad that you haven't recorded any recently. You gave me so many great ideas and are so fun to watch! Hope that you are well and are still stitching.
Lovely finishes. Always love your haul. Sorry you can’t make stitch Con, I’m going to that one. Looking forward to meeting so many floss tubers, and instagram stitchers. Hope to go to prim stitchers retreat sometime. Needs to be closer to WISCONSIN. Thinking of Minnesota next year.
First of all... that sweater is so adorable and so you! Your finishes are awesome. I honestly love that lace ribbon you used instead of the pompom it works perfectly
Is Bailey an Australian Shepherd? That face! Smartest dogs ever, IMHO. We had one for 15 + years. Busy, happy girl! Your finishing is lovely. Always like to see you pop up with a new video! Happy Stitching.
Ellen Rainie Yes, he is! He's incredibly smart when he's not being camera-shy. 😄 When we lived in an apartment, he figured out that if he leapt up while standing in front of the main door, he could trigger the motion sensor lock and open the door himself. 😮
Hey you finished that reindeer!! I remember him from one of your earlier videos 😀 Love all your little pillow finishes and yes - that schoolhouse pattern is perfect!
Love your finishes...I did several finishes this week as well. It makes me feel so accomplished. I use Vonna's idea of putting a seam in the back of the pillow. It has made pillow making so much easier. I was never able to get the hole stitched closed neatly. ( she has the tutorial on her page.) Loved seeing your dog...he reminds me of an English shepherd that we had when I was a girl.
I LOVE Peppermint and Holly! I have stitched the little house ornament and the little crow - I did NOT stitch them 1 over 1. The house on the front cover at the bottom is definitely on my list of Christmas starts this year. I would probably leave it up all year it is so pretty. Congratulations on all your FFo-ing! That is my weakest link. Looking forward to watching all your progress. xx Michele
I always enjoy your videos, and this one was no exception. Even tho I'm almost 40 years older than you, we have very similar tastes in cross stitch patterns, especially BBD. I looked for that book after you first showed it, and I am very jealous (although, also delighted at your good fortune!) Loved all of your finishes. Thanks! Patty
Your finishes are just beautiful! And your stitching on your Hawk Run Hollow piece is amazing! Such perfect stitching. I have the BBD Peppermint Holly book too and I did the Merry Christmas in the Black Urn on a piece of Aztec Red 32 count this season. I switched the red threads in the piece to white. It turned out really pretty. I like the same ones out of that book that you do. If those make it into the frames and snaps, be sure to show them to us!
Your finishes are so lovely. I love all of the ornaments and how you finished them, especially the snowman ornament and the backing fabric-perfect! I feel your pain at ripping out back stitch, since I do the same thing (every other stitch) and do not carry my threads (weaving them). Sometimes I just have to cut the stitching out completely and start over. Your HRH is looking great! I am way behind on mine, but I plan to stitch on it this week. That schoolhouse drum is everything and designed just for you! Thank you for doing such a great job on TSGG Newsletter! I know it takes a lot of personal time and you did a fantastic job, Jessica. See you soon! P. S. I LOVE your bunny sweater XOX
Caroline T. Thanks so much! I can't wait for the HRH SAL to start back up so I can see everyone again. ❤️ I should have stood up to show the bottom of the sweater--there's one tiny cat hidden among all of the bunnies. 😂
Hi! Love your finishes and WIPs. I'm just getting back into stitching after a bit of a break. I was looking at the Dyeing to Stitch site. Which club do you subscribe to? Love your finish from there.
Debbie Thomas I’m in the Ladies Prim Society and the Colonial Gatherings Club. I think this year there will be themes-Colonial is Christmas, and I believe Prim is holidays.
You did a great job on your finishes. Love them. I am curious about the round one. I am more of a visual learner so following your description of how you did it confused me. Is there a tutorial you followed? I have some I would like to finish in the round but have been intimidated by it. The ornament you did is perfect. Thanks for sharing.
molly ellett This is for an arch-shaped ornament, but I used the same steps for my round ornaments: stacybinnj.wordpress.com/basic-no-glue-ornament-finishing-tutorial
Great video! Thanks for sharing. I just recently started stitching again and I'd love to go to a retreat to meet other stitchers. I actually live near Harrisburg PA. Do you know how I get info on the retreat in Harrisburg? Thanks so much!
Diana Lohman You can find information through the Prim Stitchers Society group on Facebook-there’s a 2018 retreat registration document in the Files section that has details on the retreat. I believe the classes/stitch room part is full for 2018, but the merchant mall is open to the public for $5 for a one-day pass. It’s a pretty awesome merchant mall if you love prim. 😃
Great finishing! Makes me want to get out my box and get to work FFOing! :) Also, I was wondering where you found your Charcoal gray linen that you used for your Stacy Nash project? I looked on a couple of sites and can't find any and I think it would be perfect for a Shakespeare's Peddler chart that I want to stitch. Thanks and have a great day!
C Gil I got mine from 123Stitch. It doesn’t look like they have it in stock, but I’m sure if you contact them, they could order it! It’s a standard Zweigart color and any shop should be able to get it from their distributor.
The snowman ornament finish is adorable. Love how you added the bead to the bottom.
Enjoyed your video and all of your finishes. Thanks so much for the great job you did on the newsletter. So wonderful to have a newsletter editor again.
I really like the colors of your snowman and the jute finish!
Your FFOs are inspiring. I need to try my hand at sewing. So pretty!
Really miss your floss tubes, hope all is well.
Sure do miss your videos...hope all is well and you come back soon!!!
Loved all of your videos. Sad that you haven't recorded any recently. You gave me so many great ideas and are so fun to watch! Hope that you are well and are still stitching.

Those school house drums are adorable and the hawk run hollow is coming along beautifully.
Great finishes! Especially love that snowman.
Your dog is so cute :)
Lots of beautiful FFO's. Good for you. You have a very stitchy 2018 coming up. Hope to see an update whenever you get a chance.

Great job! Love your dog too😃 I’m into Great Danes😍
I love your videos! Your finishes were beautiful! Thank you for sharing...
Our 🎄 is still up, too. Helps with the winter gloom.

Great update! Loved all your finishes.
Love your finishes! And a great find on the Blackbird book!!
Love all of you finishes!
Anyone ever tell you that you look like young Jodi Foster. You can play her . Ohhh and your stitching is great.
So sorry your not going to Stitch-Con would love to have met you.
Great way to start the year. Awesomeness. There was no bright light on the video. Have a great weekend.🌻
You did an awesome job on your FFO's!! I love them!! I can't wait to stitch "Joy to the World"!! Thank you so much!!

You have beautiful finishes and your two retreats that you have planned sound awesome too! :)
So sorry to hear you are not coming to Stitch-Con. I love your videos. Of course we are kind of neighbors, Atlanta and Chattanooga.
Love your club piece!
Miss your videos
Bomb squad technician... lol, I feel your joy!

Artsy Marcy Oooo, I'll bet that was lovely!
Very nice finishes, will have to see if I can find a bodkin - any gadget to help with finishing is always welcome. :-)

I had to laugh about your bomb squad comment re picking out your thread. OMG. I can so identify. I do love all your finishes. Nicely done!
