I've been training for ages on the Server so now we're back with more Boss Fights! I decided it was finally time to claim the Wizard Saint Title, seems I definitely trained more than necessary for it though X'D
Hi, I recently joined the server and love it from a logistic point of view! The spells, builds, and plug-in infrastructure are amazing. However, I feel like new-player retention lacks priority. I logged on throughout the week at different times of the day to see if that feeling changed but I can’t say it significantly did. What do I mean by new player retention effort? When I joined, it was difficult to get simple questions answered in-game and on the discord server. However that wasn’t the biggest obstacle; in my (only a week-long developed) opinion, very few of the guildmasters were engaging with me or others as new players. I know this isn’t a factions server, but I think new player retention would benefit immensely if guildmasters were much more engaging with their newer members, providing a sense of community. Especially since new players do not start off with much gear, and the regularly spawning mobs are quite difficult to defeat early game; this means that a guild is often a newer player’s first point of contact when it comes to engaging with the server. I hope this comment is not overly critical. I only typed all this out because I think this server has so much potential because of its amazing design and infrastructure. I only hope my analysis as a newer player can start some conversations on the server between staff and/or veterans about how to make the server more appealing to new players and their desire to become regular/veteran players in time. I will continue to try to engage on the server!
