As a child, I saw my parents as these invincible adults. I saw dad as this big strong man who worked hard, protected our family, and just took care of things. I saw my mom as the caretakers who were always there to make sure my sister and my needs were attended to and know that we were always loved. All through my growing up, they looked the same age as me. Strong and energetic and young. That is how they have always seemed to me. Until now, I realized I wished I could have spent more memories with my father when I was younger. I will have to return to the corporate world again, which means being busy and returning to long meetings. I'll be spending quality time with Minji and hopefully, this will be a memory she carries on with her when she's older.
