So I flew from the Capitano Throne in Ochkanatlan, south towards the Volcano-they-wont-let-us-access-yet, using the Mavuika-Chasca-Nightsoul-Transmission-refresh method, without having to land once. So yes, I believe it's possible to fly across, if not AROUND all of Natlan with this method. Makes me wish we had Nightsoul Transmission outside of Natlan as well
Idk if you've covered it before, but Kinich and Ororon/Citlali can get pretty much infinite vertical height very quickly. You just need to hold Kinich's second swing for as long as it allows you, switch to Ororon/Citlali, hold their charge midair and then back to Kinich. I used that, with Amber also on the team, to reach the max possible height in the border of Natlan and fly all the way to the top of King Deshret's Mausoleum. Also, if you run out of stamina outside of Natlan while flying with Ororon, you can spam his charge attack to descend veeeery slowly and do that until your stamina food refreshes

As one example, imagine a course where others compete to get from People of the Springs Wayob to The Frozen Throne as fast as possible. You could run characters like Mualani, Chasca, and Xilonen to deal with the various terrain, Diddy Kong Racing style.
They mentioned something like that during the livestream of 5.3 but it was for future content like the challenge boss game mode. Kinich was featured for that part I think.
random fun fact: In mavuika's story quest, there is one scene where kachina does a warm up and says "one,two,three,four,two,two,three,four" just like qiqi in her idle
If you use kinich and xilonen you can hold kinich's second grapple to get back stamina and xilonen restores any lost phlogiston when you do a nightsoul transition
Ororon can do it too (Spam his bow in the air instead of holding it down after switching with either Chasca or Mavuika. It will work if u time it right when stamina and phlogiston run out)
You can also surf infinitely with mualani and mavuika. The trick is to let mavuika phliogistion transmission run out because, at the end, she will do a flip, and then when you're in the air, press e.
You can do something similar with ororon, Citlali, and that wind powered wind turbine from Fontaine where you can just go straight up for a very long time if done right On a related note nightsoul transmission has a height limit!
You literally just have to glide as soon as Mavuika's bike stops flying and you can not only fly all you want, you will not fall and actually get higher slowly, meaning you can in theory start at the lowest point of natlan and use these two to get to the highest point without using any stamina.
Its possible with citlali + mavuika, everytime you change characters u will gain flogisto too, holding citlalis charge attack will consume flogisto (not stamina) and everytime u change to citlali she flight higher (like pressing spacebar)
If you time opening mavuika's glider immediately right as her mode ends so she falls a bit less, then when you switch to chasca (and later mavuika) the vertical height game compensation is basically equal to the height lost. With that strategy i flew from the ruin dragon city island all the way to sumeru's desert and i was still very sky high when the natlan swap mechanic ended at the border
That's actually quite impressive! Anyways here the best infinte flying + infinte ascending team: Kinich, Chasca & Xilonen. Xilonen: passive will refill your phlogiston from zero to max anywhere, which means u can refill midair and never run out of phlogiston. Kinich: you can use his skill to easily ascend higher altitudes and hold his skill to hang mid air without consuming stamina or phlogiston. Chasca: for movement, speed and phlogiston consumption! You have nothing to worry about it cause Xilonen will take care of your fuel ⛽

If you find a Quqasaur and go into fast flying mode and start to walk, you can fly forever. I crossed the entirety of Natlan with it so I hope it’s not patched!
Ororon's passive talent also increases the entire party's gliding speed. But for sheer height, I actually prefer and would recommend Kinich. You can hold and aim your hook-swing-move as high as possible, which actually gives Kinich even more height than you originally aimed for, do a second shot just the same, and then switch back to Chasca, and then to Mavuika, etc etc....Hmm. I might actually try to use this to go back up to Tonatiuh without the teleport points...but this is utilizing phlogiston.
i use kinich ororon and circumnavigate natlan 2x withiut going down.those 2 can refresh their stamina midair so infinite stamina infinite flight, they can pause in the air
There is a easier way which I don't think you accounted for which is Xilonen. "But she doesn't fly?!" That's not the point we just need her passive. Put Xilonen, Kinich, Ororon on the same team; you will be able to fly anywhere in Natlan without ever touching the ground or without ever spending phologiston/stamina, only true infinite flight as of right now.
Xilonen can help make it easier if you're not forbidding yourself from using phlogiston. I'd recommend Chasca, Mavuika, Xilonen and Kinich for true infinite aerial mobility. I learned how to gain major air in Natlan with Kinich pretty much as soon as I got him (as a new player, I am QUITE spoiled...)

Kettletoro almost found the "INFINITE" technique for Mavuika
