Can you make a video on your communication styles and how you now deal with conflict?
    Great video!

Hey guys! Loved your openness in your videos. So tough but amazing! I watched these awhile ago and so am not sure which video it was on but wanted to ask you about your experience with therapy or counselling. We have been partners 15 years and I honestly think we should have started just talking to someone 15 years ago and have yet to do so so here is to putting important things first for 2019! How did you find your Therapist/Counsellor and do you have any suggestions in finding someone? Also, you mentioned thinking a sex therapist would have been helpful but how would you have known that specifically was the issue and not something else without seeing a regular therapist first?

Hi Jen! Finding the right therapist can be so hard! For us, we went off the recommendation of a trusted friend. Asking friends and family members, if possible, is a great place to start. If that resource isn't available to you, know that it may take a few sessions with different therapists to find someone who is a good fit for you. It's a tough journey, but SO worth it once you find a helpful person. We agree that general therapy is a good place to start if you're unsure of the underlying issue. A professional is the right person to help you sort that out. We wish you the best of luck and love as you move forward on your journey!

Communication is key but it's also about vocabulary.

Lauren, what about "wanting to be with someone" necessitates marriage in your mind? What about the social construct of marriage makes you any more committed to a life partner than simply committing, if you so choose?

Thanks for the question, Jeff! The complexities of commitment and marriage vary from person to person, and we honestly find that all of our opinions about marriage, commitment, monogamy etc change on a regular basis as well. This is a great point and perhaps something we can explore in the future through our videos. :)

That is my view in regards to marriage. I am not a huge fan and see it as a social construct that has enormous pressure to conform to it.

I think a lot of people feel that way! No matter how you decide to express it, as long as you love with kindness and respect, that's all that matters.

    Are y’all still married?

If you marry someone just like you - one of you is redundant but on the other hand why get married? Find a woman - buy her a car and a house and then leave.
