Welcome to our spanking new Living Walks channel, dedicated to all things Madeira! It’d be grand if you’d subscribe! Then we can bring you your weekly dose of Madeira.
Did you mention my name in vain?! Lol! 🤣😜 Aww shucks Yvonne & Mike, I was truly touched & honoured by the thought & yes, Yarsagumba is even more great value with 30% off with TheFork! So your curry house tally is two for this video! I've never dined at any restaurants at Rua de Santa Maria as I was under the impression they'd be pricey & too touristic with lower quality fare, but I never stopped to look at the menus in great depth as I think the first couple put me off with their prices. I never knew mushroom risotto was such a popular dish as I tend to skip over the vegetarian items, but I shall open my eyes more in future. Also I never noticed the coffee shop in the corner on the ground floor at Mercado dos Lavradores, so that's one to check out on my next outting! All the best for 2025 my friends 🤗
Ah very observant of you dear Mr R, just shows you watch things all the way through. We’ve only ever dined once or twice in the area and both times were surprisingly good. 30% off with TheFork as Yarsagumba, not bad at all, I’ve never really thought of using it but you’ve made me think why not? Mushroom risotto wise, yes it’s everywhere for some reason, which is alright by me! We’re meeting Joe tomorrow to chat about another challenge for him (and we’ve got one for you when we do someday get to meet). Thanks for dropping by matey, good to know someone out there is finding the wee channel.
@LivingWalksMadeira Give my best to Joe & a Merry New Year to you all my friends 🤗 Get TheFork ASAP, then you'll have more money to buy my poncha with lol! 🤣 😜 I can't wait for this challenge! 😉
@@LivingWalksMadeira I found plenty, in fact most of the restaurants I dined in were booked via TheFork & you even end with loyalty points redeemable against future meals!
@@WildPeonies26 morning, it’s always good to have your feedback for this new little channel, it helps us to decide on a direction to go with it, so thank you (and you know you can be as Blunt as you like)! 🙂

@@RuePhoto thanks for the suggestion then matey. Enjoy your new year whatever you do.
I do like these menu walks, it’s a great idea, as it’s sometimes hard to focus when you’re actually there. Do you plan to do any more in Madeira?
Pleased you do Biaf, and yes the next one will be another menu walks, in Central Funchal.
Love the restaurant walking tour, very handy 😊. Thank you for posting.
