Though little is known of the life of the 15th-century Indian mystic and poet Kabir, it is believed he was born in or near Benares. He grew up in a family of Muslim weavers before becoming a disciple of the Hindu ascetic Ramananda. Kabir is considered both a Sufi and Brahmin saint.
His poetry draws on both Hinduism and Islam, though he was critical of certain aspects of both faiths. Some of his verses are included in the compilation of Sikh scriptures known as the Adi Granth. His mystical poems are grounded in the details and earthly particulars of everyday life.
Kabir is not easily categorized as a Sufi or a Yogi -- he is all of these. He is revered by Muslims, Hindus, and Sikhs. He stands as a unique, saintly, yet very human, bridge between the great traditions that live in India. Kabir says of himself that he is, "at once the child of Allah and Ram".

The Sufi mystics are new to me. So far, I find they get right to the point with instructions but do so somewhat poetically. I really appreciate this practicality. What an interesting person he was to have crossed the lines of religions and then to have been widely revered in history by all. This is truly extraordinary.
U should check Guru Nanak he is actually crowned as the leader of the most religions

Because you already are the spark of the Lord of which cannot be attached to nor can attach
We want to be attached to the ultimate of all pleasure. The greatest pleasure known to all our senses mind heart existence being, unknowing it is already our very being.
As Kabir says
I laugh when when I hear that the fish in water is thirsty
I laugh when I hear people go on pilgrimage to find God
God is within. It is not an external attainment that is somewhere in the future and other than here and now. God is here now. Now here. And nowhere because he is nowhere outside of you. God is not other than you. Infact the aspect "other than you" is not. It cannot exist. Therefore nothing exists other than you. Other than God.
This also non coincidentally coincides with Oshos: the further you go in search for happiness the farther we are from it. And that the whole of existence is mirrors, mirror of how we see these 5 steps:
1. Avidya - Ignorance of our true nature
2. Asmita - Egoism/error following ignorance
3. Raga - Attachments
4. Dvesha - Aversions
5. Abhinivesha - Fear/Anxiety
