When November rolls around, teams with great defensive lines take over -- this is true at any level of football, high school, college or pro. Michigan's defensive line is a monster with freakish talent, which makes them a dangerous team to face in a playoff situation.

Michigan will have multiple losses this season. The michigvan fan sports media is carrying water for the program reporting what THEY want said. They will continue to lie about how much trouble the school is in with the NCAA so enjoy whats coming and despite what you will say that LOA you all got last week, is JUST the beginning...its going to be BRUTAL.

As far as the texas game .. when you have a elete defensive line you can fill the backfield with DBs just.. like Michigan did with Washington in the natty . When you got 2 or 3 corners jamming guys with 2 or 3 safeties in zone and mix up concepts texas is going to have a hard time. As long as Michigan can score 21 or 28 points I think they win the game.

I think Michigan is going 10-2. I think they will upset one of the teams excepted to beat them with that D. I think they will be competitive every game they are in and a win against them is not guaranteed.

michigan is gonna run so much read option
Michigan should run the Wishbone at times. Bo Schembechler did this in 1988 when he had LeRoy Hoard, Jarrod Bunch and Tony Boles in the backfield. These were three exceptional running backs, This year we have Edwards, Mullins, Bredeson and Orji as QB. If the OL plays well, Michigan should be competitive. I agree with 8-4 or 9-3 with all of the changes this year.
The problem is...part time wishbone won't work. Bo did it a little, but they weren't better than in the I formation. I always wanted it to look like Oklahoma, but it didn't. I would go with the read option and maybe I formation option.

@@vine5652 I’ll have to look up the game, but threw an interception and following series looked bad. I remember thinking man what’s up he was pretty good year before. Every instance that I watched him last year I felt disappointed.

No chance, Michigan had the lowest talent composite for a national champion since being recorded. Michigan is 128th in returning production while losing 44 upperclassmen to graduation including 13 to the nfl. It takes recruiting at a top 10 level to sustain similar success and they recruit at a top 15 level. They have to replace 95% of the coaching staff, replace the entire oline and qb who hasnt shown to be much of a passer at all. Defense returns some top key players but the struggling offense puts pressure on the defense and they wont be as effective. D Edwards had a subpar season with a better oline last year. All of that means Michigan had no chance at going undefeated lol. So a team that had the lowest talent composite with the most turnover with the roster and coaching staff ever for a national champion and with a tough schedule. Any fan expected to go 12-0 is just hope and delusion.

Michigan could go 9-3 but it will not lose to Texas. Texas is an 8 win program at best last year was an anomaly. Michigan 31-17 over Texas, not concerned about Texas at all, they will also lose 3 or more games.
Why wouldn’t they be just as explosive on offense? They never throw it anyway. They run the rock and suffocate their opponents defense. They still have a rock solid offensive line and a stud at RB. If they do start Orji I think they’ll be an unstoppable offense. I predict they drop one to Texas early but rebound and gain that steam the UM machine always gets. 11-1 B1G champs and the #1 seed going into the playoff. OSU ain’t nothing with Cryin Day walking their sideline. That defense may be better than last years too.

Oregon lost their starting rb, wr, and qb off a team that lost TWICE to UW. The second loss wasn't even close. UW pushed them around.
