    That is slick! Turned out awesome man. Question & a tip:
    Q- What is the point of quenching the copper? It doesn't harden, does it?
    T- If you want to keep the copper from oxidizing, wipe a very thin layer of shellac over it. I've made woodturning tools, using copper pipe as a ferrule, and it keeps it nice & shiny. =) Also prevents the steel from rusting in my basement shop. Depends on what look you're going for though...
