    This video is great! I would definitely recommend buying a big pack of clips before you start! And the way you showed installing clips 1st was perfect! Thanks so much, saved me a bunch of headaches! Finished and done and I hope I never have to do it again! Twice in 2 days was plenty! 💪✌️

      Awesome! Glad the video was able to help you get the job done. Definitely not a bad idea to have extra clips laying around.

    Great video. I am going to have to do this since someone hit my front grill and bumper in a parking lot

      @btbuildthings  Год назад

      Oh man that sucks, sorry you have to deal with that. I'm guessing they hit it and took off?

    I just did this on my 2021 be aware its different, no in grill fasteners to remove just top, pull it away from you then slip the bottom connectors with your finger on the bottom to release the tab

    • @73ELDORADO73
      @73ELDORADO73 Месяц назад

      also those square spin connectors are idiotic, use screws nissan wtf

  • @jrobii17
    @jrobii17 Год назад +1

    How do you remove the connector under the grille part? Can’t figure out to remove it. Thanks

    • @btbuildthings
      @btbuildthings  Год назад +1

      You just have to squeeze the tab and pull.

      No problem!

  • @danielk0106
    @danielk0106 Год назад +1

    I tried to reach in there and push those tabs in and it feels like there's a thick piece of rubber blocking those parts of the tabs you push up on to release all 6.

    • @btbuildthings
      @btbuildthings  Год назад +1

      Hmm, interesting. I didn't have any rubber blocking them. If you look through the grille you should be able to see some of them. Did you go from underneath like I did?

    • @danielk0106
      @danielk0106 Год назад

      @@btbuildthings Top and bottom. The ones on the end is no problem. Reaching from underneath or reaching into the grille like you did is where I find that rubber is blocking them.
      I wonder if the rubber trim from lower part of the front bumper got in between that and the front upper bumper piece?

    • @OmynZ33
      @OmynZ33 Год назад +1

      @@danielk0106 I had the rubber piece as well.. Just push through the rubber and they show unclip

    Is this the same process for a 2021 pro x4 ?

    Damnn quick question. Did your frame get damage after that accident? Because I had a fender bender and only the bottom bumper got pushed in a little, also the bumper didn’t bend at all.

    • @btbuildthings
      @btbuildthings  Год назад

      There was small frame damage in the rear. The front bumper must have bent a little but overall, damage wasn't too bad.

    Is this the same with an XD?

    • @btbuildthings
      @btbuildthings  Год назад +1

      I believe it should be the same for the XD as well.

    • @oldhess
      @oldhess Год назад +1

      @@btbuildthings can confirm that it is the same, but those clips are annoying AF. I just used nut bolt and washers on the upper part

    • @btbuildthings
      @btbuildthings  Год назад

      @oldhess They sure are annoying. Would have been nicer to have a simpler and more service friendly design.
