The sound quality is fantastic !!
I think the MoGo Pro also had that little volume/focus toggle button at the bottom of the remote. It's a great little feature.

I have a question - would it be possible to place it at an angle of about 30° from the screen (wall)? I have a 190cm high cabinet which stands on the side of the room - I was thinking of placing the projector on its roof. Is it possible to compensate such an angle?

I have a question about how to unable surrounding sound. I see that it has speakers almost all around it, when I play something sound only comes put from the front?
Got this a week ago and Just love it. Only bad think is the bad Netflix Support tho i knew it before buying

It will do it, but there will be quality loss as the picture is being digitally cropped

Great review.... been trying to decide between this and the cheaper 1300 lumen Mi Smart Pro 2, I think the Horizon 1080p is amazing, and better value, would you say the Horizon is as durable as the Halo for external use? Concerned if it can handle the outdoors, heat, cold, wing etc....

@@intzaarkhan6937 absolutely yes, fantastic unit. Easy to install Netflix , add other apps and the pic and sound is great. We take it outside with a big projector the headphones are very good. Very pleased.

I have never used a projector before so sorry for posting a dumb question lol... do we need to get a projector screen separately OR does it work equally well without compromising the resolution/clarity when projected directly on to a wall?
If you have a good wall then for this type you should be fine.

I would recommend getting an Roku TV streaming device, like express 4K for example. It’s AirPlay 2 and HomeKit certified and costs under 30$. Found used for like 12$ and it’s really great 😎
A good HDMI cable pretty much nails it. Play movies from your Macbook or from a DVD player connected to your Macbook.
I like the integrated Android TV OS, so I don't need external devices to watch movies.

@@FlauntAarna is it robust for travel and the outdoors as will be using it outdoors ongoing, will it handle the odd knock and the outdoors, heat, cold, wind etc..... feel like the Halo to Horizon cost is minimal and the Horizon brightness is huge......

there are many fake reviews for projectors. but halo plus is actually good. Been using it for 2 months now. No issues at all. For the price of 700 (black Friday) I think I got a good deal. Is there any competing for this that is better? I don't think so

It depends on what is your priority, do you want a projector that you can move easily or one which is brighter and for only some rooms???
In the same boat, thou the Horizon 1080p in comparison, I need one for traveling and outdoors, is with either the Halo+ and Horizon durable for traveling, the odd bump etc....

@@allthingstech I'm currently about to invest in my 1st projector and have narrowed it down to this, the Cosmos Max 4K, and Epson EF12. I can get them all for around the same money. Having tested all 3, if it were you, which would you spend your own money on? I'm hoping to use it in the house for movie nights on a 120 inch screen as well as being able to have outdoor movie nights. I have outside power so battery is not required. I just can't decide having not been able to see them all in person!
@@neilcooper9842 is the Horizon Pro out of your budget? If it is then Difficult to split the cosmos max and halo plus, I’d go with halo plus if you use outdoors
@@allthingstech I can get the rest of them for around £750-£800 whereas it's pretty much double for the Horizon Pro as much as I'd love it. It'll mostly be used indoors but only occasionally outdoors. The thing about the Epson I liked was the ability to project easily on the roof in bed and the sound is great by all accounts.

I had a 585 Benq which developed colour issues after 5 months so i returned and bought the 685 Benq which developed white spotting 10 month in i returned and bought a TK850, it developed hdmi faults 21 days in!!, ive returned it i will never buy another Benq product not happy one bit.

I had horizon pro at1699usd if budget is OK. Definitely a must. Otherwise horizon at 999usd or halo+ in this video if you prefer to move indoor or a bit outdoor

Big thumbs down for keystone, if it's at an angle and although the picture is straight there is still a halo around the screen which is very off putting. All projectors work their best when lined up straight

No USB C to charge with a power bank? Big no-no with me. No netflix install possible? Yikes. No Airplay? Ouch. For these reasons I'm out. Big bummer for such a product in 2022..
