Truly fantastic stuff! Great footage and excellently edited. Keep up the good work and keep them videos coming! One question: what funny beat did Dominique make when leaving Malmesbury? It sounded like wheelspin but did not look like it?
NICE VIDEO! THIS IS A FINE LOOKING MACHINE AND THE LONG TENDER FITS IN WELL! WAS THIS LOCO BUILT AS AN OIL BURNER, OR WAS IT CONVERTED LATER? WHO IS THE BUILDER? IS A BOOTH BURNER NOZZLE USED IN THE FIREBOX? ENJOYED , KEEP THEM ROLLING BROTHERS!!
Hi Ross, The locomotive is a class 19D, commonly known as Dollies in South Africa. 268 of them were built by multiple manufacturers including Borsig, Henschel & Son and North British Locomotive. The locomotive seen in the video was built by North British and they generally used two tender types. A square box type classified as an MX tender and the round Vanderbilt. The dollies were all coal burner and this one including its sister number 3321 was converted to oil burner by the museum many years ago.

Thanks for watching Willie. You're a long standing supporter of my channel. It was wheel slip, very subtle though.
Such memories of the Union Limited tours!
Thanks Vivienne.
