As a swede spending my days in Malmö I really enjoyed this blog. You really presented the city in a great light and you showed what's really great about it. But I had the shock of my life when I recognised the two dancing girls in the beginning as my classmates of 9 years. Out of everyone in the entire world, it was those two. I wasn't even looking for videos about Sweden, just Eurovision, and I'm still baffled.
YASSSSS! I went to Malmo in 2013 and I was a little skeptical I'd have fun, but I LOVED IT. That place Hipp you mention is a good night out. Also I flew to Copenhagen for only £39 on EasyJet and then took the train over the bridge, so it was easy like you say. Really recommend it!
(1) LOL that you have a giant poster of Jessica Andersson (2) LOL that your cat is visible in the opening frame (3) I really want to go to Malmooooo. Looks so cute!!! I didn't realise it had old buildings like that - only thought of Turning Torso before. PS The Eurovision butterfly remains my favourite logo ever.
+EuRuvision Thank you so much! It's easy to have a laugh and smile in Malmö - super fun place. This was probably my favourite heat or national selection trip ever. Great show, great people, easy, convenient!
+Bogdan Honciuc You'll love it! So much to do, lots of good food. I keep going on about this, but the waterfront is so nice. You can walk the whole stretch, look at the bridge, stop at some cafés....in the summer it's gorgeous.
+Sister Phan Howlter SVT make it so easy to get coverage. Also, as for the city itself, soooo clean. Being a town helps, but still - they clearly take pride in their streets, etc.
Time for a part 2 :)

Why take the train past Malmö Arena to the Centralstation and then back to Malmö Arena?
We had to drop our bags off at our hotel :-)
PS I love Wiktoria! She seems so sweet!
She's so genuine. Really hope she wins next week!

+William Lee Adams it looks absolutely gorgeous compared to the streets of London.
Is this video old?
Filmed the weekend of February 13, 2016. But it took time to edit it together.
ah ok. Good video btw!
Nice video, copenhagen is nicer though.
+hamstathps I was surprised how connected Copenhagen and Malmö are - from accents to cuisine to trains!
