Thank you, Peter for a challenging talk that is clear, yet lovingly taught! May your message go out through all the earth! When we love God and follow His way, we are in harmony and we find peace. Thank you for the encouragement that we are not alone in the battle. Chastity and purity are the antidote. The world would have us believe that's unnatural. Yet all of nature, except for aberrations, shows us the opposite. There is hope.
May His light pierce this present darkness so all will come to the knowledge and love of God.

God Bless you Peter. You are spot on with this message, especially on how this deterioration of the family is generational. I’m retired and as I look back on my life, you can easily see how this has taken place. We need to pray fervently and ask God for mercy.

Unfortunately I know this, so many young people don't think there is anything wrong with it, all I can do is pray. I evangelize to my children, unfortunately they have fallen into this Marxist, self expressive way. I am helping in an after school program and hope to spread this way of thinking, follow Jesus.

I'm definitely struggling right there with you. It makes me angry, scared, depressed, and hopeless to see the cultural and moral deterioration and even more upsetting to see people agree with it. The JP2 quote helps me a little. I'm worried for my kids. I want to move out of this God forsaken country.

Thanks very much! I really appreciated the calmly delivered and rational remarks about flash teachers which helps me accept this reality. We must let go of a cart blanche and undiscriminating trust in all of the clergy but instead trust in the catechism.
I need to hear this all laid out like this. Thank you! Even having faith I get lost among the pointless misguided controversies. It is too easy to surrender hope because of those who have given up their faith. Jesus is the truth, and his gift of the Holy Spirit gives life and hope.

As a divorced/annulled 50 yr old woman (Kermie is my lizard's name lol) trying to date, let me just say that I'm finding it IMPOSSIBLE to find a guy who is even remotely committed to remaining chaste until marriage. Thank God I believe in miracles, because it will literally take a miracle to find a man who will wait for marriage.
I’m totally with you and your message, Mr. Herbeck, so don’t misunderstand the reason for my question. But, could you please tell us what is meant by “flourishing”? How does a society flourish? What are the traits of a flourishing culture?
I’m other words, if monogamy, pre-nuptial celibacy, etc., are the causes of the flourishing, then these same cannot also be the signs or results of flourishing. Do those cultures flourish in the sense that many people go to college? Is there great art and literature? Do scientists there make discoveries, and are diseases cured? Are it’s armies always victorious?
