I can hang out with new believers and unbelievers all day but old Christians like me i struggle with. They do nothing then tell me how dissatisfied they are and i say come to the mission, come to the jail with me and they say...Naaa. The workers are few the Bible says...hes not talking about unbelievers. Hes talking to believers. He said it in several parables...get away from me wicked servant.....do you love God, you never did anything for him? That servant in the parable was a pew warmer. Not a bad guy, a guy that was told about salvation and then hid it...lived a double life and nobody at his work even knew he went to church. Jesus's mission was to seek and save the lost. Thats the commission he left us. Do that anyway he wants you too and you won't be dissatisfied any longer. Paul said you cant have great faith without great works. Preachers right, your works won't earn your salvation, but they sure do prove what you believe and who you believe in. I hear this message of complacency almost daily, its in our schools, work places, and unfortunately.....our churches. I give you the same message Jesus gives..go forth and sin no more, then follow him to where he wants you. Just dooo something....Or just go back to netflix...I'm going to the jail. Im not better then any of you, i just worked my salvation already with fear and trembling. This is not the message this generation needs to hear. They need to hear get up let's go to work. You got salvation, now let's get to work brothers and sisters. If not...just tell yourself i want to be a milk drinker my whole life.
I truly don't understand your message at all. The Bible says "We are transformed thru the renewing of our minds" yet u preach a message thats there's no process? You seem to be implying that we don't need to pray? Or spend time with God? Or fast and do things to weaken our flesh? I've heard you say we don't need to ask for forgiveness? Jesus taught us to do that DAILY. I never hear you mention BEING OBEDIENT? How can u be obedient to God if u don't take time to read His word? or to pray? or fast? Ur message seems like its simply teaching ppl how to be less useful and to reject the process and or idea that we are being transformed at all. Yes we are accepted throughout the process and the penalty for our sin has been paid but that does not eradicate our need for transformation. We must embrace the process and be obedient and willingly participate in the process by trusting God every step of the way. Our faith in God and belief that He loves us and knows whats best for us is what allows us to take those steps in obedience. Our faith is demonstrated thru our obedience. Jesus' work on the cross wasnt so we can sin with a clear conscience, it was an act of LOVE and an invitation to walk with Him not out of fear, but out of love and trust.

MAT. 24 : 13 So by faith you are saved through grace along with obeying Jesus,s commands. Good works alone can,t save you but are required as part of salvation. Faith without works is dead. Show me your faith by your works - James 2 : 14 Do not drop your guard. Enduring till the end means you can lose salvation before the end.

@@rightlanebandit9844 I see what you mean. Gal. 5 : 19, 20 recites some major commands of Jesus that we must obey or loose out on salvation. Verses 21 - 25 tell us of the fruitage of the spirit that we would automatically demonstrate if one is a true christian and verse 26 tells us to guard against certain behaviors that can bring us down. Dependency in God
I can hang out with new believers and unbelievers all day but old Christians like me i struggle with. They do nothing then tell me how dissatisfied they are and i say come to the mission, come to the jail with me and they say...Naaa. The workers are few the Bible says...hes not talking about unbelievers. Hes talking to believers. He said it in several parables...get away from me wicked servant.....do you love God, you never did anything for him? That servant in the parable was a pew warmer. Not a bad guy, a guy that was told about salvation and then hid it...lived a double life and nobody at his work even knew he went to church. Jesus's mission was to seek and save the lost. Thats the commission he left us. Do that anyway he wants you too and you won't be dissatisfied any longer. Paul said you cant have great faith without great works. Preachers right, your works won't earn your salvation, but they sure do prove what you believe and who you believe in. I hear this message of complacency almost daily, its in our schools, work places, and unfortunately.....our churches. I give you the same message Jesus gives..go forth and sin no more, then follow him to where he wants you. Just dooo something....Or just go back to netflix...I'm going to the jail. Im not better then any of you, i just worked my salvation already with fear and trembling. This is not the message this generation needs to hear. They need to hear get up let's go to work. You got salvation, now let's get to work brothers and sisters. If not...just tell yourself i want to be a milk drinker my whole life.

I truly don't understand your message at all. The Bible says "We are transformed thru the renewing of our minds" yet u preach a message thats there's no process? You seem to be implying that we don't need to pray? Or spend time with God? Or fast and do things to weaken our flesh? I've heard you say we don't need to ask for forgiveness? Jesus taught us to do that DAILY. I never hear you mention BEING OBEDIENT? How can u be obedient to God if u don't take time to read His word? or to pray? or fast? Ur message seems like its simply teaching ppl how to be less useful and to reject the process and or idea that we are being transformed at all. Yes we are accepted throughout the process and the penalty for our sin has been paid but that does not eradicate our need for transformation. We must embrace the process and be obedient and willingly participate in the process by trusting God every step of the way. Our faith in God and belief that He loves us and knows whats best for us is what allows us to take those steps in obedience. Our faith is demonstrated thru our obedience. Jesus' work on the cross wasnt so we can sin with a clear conscience, it was an act of LOVE and an invitation to walk with Him not out of fear, but out of love and trust.
If we have an obedient heart then why do we disobey

Do not drop your guard. Enduring till the end means you can lose salvation before the end.

@@rightlanebandit9844 I see what you mean. Gal. 5 : 19, 20 recites some major commands of Jesus that we must obey or loose out on salvation. Verses 21 - 25 tell us of the fruitage of the spirit that we would automatically demonstrate if one is a true christian and verse 26 tells us to guard against certain behaviors that can bring us down. I will explore further.

Jesus is the shepherd. And the sheep have eternal life. But the goats will not. Just be in one mind with Jesus. We must seek justification by the righteousness of his Father. True belief or no belief??
Simon Skinner -- Being of one mind with Jesus is not something a believer must strive for. We have already been *given* the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). It is true that we *ought* to act consistent with that mind, but obviously that doesn't always happen -- which is why Paul pleaded with believers to do so: "Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment." (1 Corinthians 2:10)
We do NOT seek justification. We have already been justified:
21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. We have been justified freely by His grace because we have believed in Jesus Christ. Believing is believing; believing is not behavior. The only righteousness being demonstrated in this passage is the righteousness of Christ, by His propitiation -- not our righteous actions. We have been justified by faith in the blood of Jesus (Romans 5:1-9).
Believers have already been cleansed of all unrighteousness and have been justified (1 Corinthians 6:11). Justification is not something a person can seek, because it can only be accomplished by the Judge: God.
Stop preaching salvation by works. If you want to reject the free gift of eternal life that comes by accepting salvation on Christ's terms, that is your choice. But stop trying to drag people to hell with you.
