If you didnt notice, Netherlands finished 3rd with only 2 riders, they could have given up riding with 2 riders. respect
The Netherland would have won by a huge margin if dude didn't take a rock to his eye.
Never no
@@ktm8562 yes they do
We (Americans) complaining about the track being too rough. This is exactly why we will never be number 1 again. MxGP riders are just better. They don't ride "prepped" and pretty tracks every weekend. I'm actually disgusted hearing pless complaining about the track.
NO EXCUSES! The Europians are the better riders for now. It’s their time.
AMA fan
This is not an excuse, it is reality. The FIM now dictates both the SX and private land owner MX tracks to be easy, (for pro's), and make the tracks so the lap times are as close as possible. The best racers will get less talented because the tracks don't require the talent they have, and the mid pack racers will mix with them. What is happening in the USA, because of the easy FIM dictatorship tracks, and SX tracks that do not separate the talent, is called "regression to the means". There is no doubt the Team USA racers will not fair well in the 2019 MXofN, and the FIM brass will be laughing hard in their offices. They are killing greatness, and those freak socialists think it is funny.
Yeah, because the Europeans always do well when they come to race ama circuits... right? Lmao. They’ve dumbed down these tracks so the Europeans can be competitive.
We'll have to see, the guys we're sending this year may have you guys rethinking things.
Steve Dhi Suzuki offered me a factory ride
Steve Dhi in 88 I raced a KX 250. In ‘91 and ‘92 I raced the RM 250 while I wrestled in college in California. Good times, lots of wins. Suzuki tried to sign me for ‘93.
as an american i have to admit, Europe has got us covered. MX, Enduro, Dakar rally, isle of man tt.....
And MOTOGP
@@henkm4862 yes... MOTO GP, WESS
Actually in the enduro you americans are pretty fast. At the Six Days of enduro, which is like enduro of nation, your team finished second behind australia. Robert Taylor and Ryan Sipes are such fast riders
The problem in America is to much emphasis is put on stick and ball sports such as baseball and football and basketball. Motorcycle racing and racecar driving are not looked at as real sports from mainstream Americans. So the talent pool is shallow. America desperately needs another A.J Foyt in auto racing or a moto gp rider with talent of a Valentino Rossi. Will it ever happen? I dont know. But i pray it does.
Agree...what happened to MotoAmerica Superbikes compared to British Superbikes. Feel like the same is happening to AMA Motocross vs MXGP
The dude with the pornhub shirt at 1:45
Dude that’s funny
What I find so funny about the Pornhub shirt is it’s an American fan wearing a Canadian shirt, Pornhub is Canadian!

Excellent words from the man at the end.
Redbull thank you ! Loved this series.
Best series, keep the good work UP!!!
Congratulations Netherlands,,,you guys earned it,,,, sincerely, mx fan in USA
Team Australia was leading going into the last race and its not even mentioned. A disgrace.
Well realistic Hunter was leading, the orher two gave their best but it was not enough for podium. But I think fourth is still great.
@@mxrider4222 yeah gibbs chocked. But im happy for Hunter as his from the big town as me
Germany had a real shot, too with Jacobi, Roczen and Nagl all of them are world class riders. But they turned out not to be important so they weren't mentioned either.
Jeffery Hearlings will definantly win next year at Assen no doubt at all 👍🏼
the italian deffo
Unfortunately for France you are probably right !!!
like everybody else he too can make mistakes once in while you know....
You were right
lets see him in supercross........
Awesome series. I feel like I watched that in 2 minutes. Wish these episodes were longer.
This and MX Nation are exceptionally well done web shows. These two series have made me a motocross fan and I don't even own a dirt bike!
thats what we waited for!!
Thanks for these episodes, you truly killed it and cant wait for more next year!
Thanks
It was amazing watching all the riders! Especially you Glenn C.!! Lots of love from Minnesota, United States
Usa - we cant be beat.
USA- they changed the track??!!
Stephen Wilson you got beat dumb ass
And looking into the future you will be beat for a long time
They completely messed the track up compared to the normal redbud! It was two totally different tracks. They don’t more a shit ton of European sand on it which makes absolutely no sense!
Stephen Wilson I’m American and even I have to wonder why the fuck we did so bad. I think cockiness played a big part in it.
Couldn't ride Matterley Basin either, just accept your not the best
@@carlthompson9925 ...and wait for Assen!
That was riveting to watch. Thanks!
best episode, great content, really wish it was a longer video but still awesome :)
Best voice so far for a series about MX.
Funny seeing Tomac run #25. That’s gotta be some bad juju😂
it would be funnier if he had to run 84
So if you think it's funny he's riding Marvin's number I think it's evern funnier in the GPs the 25 is Clement Desalle's number on his factory Kawa all season long. Btw I'm sure without his terrible starts and crashes Clement would have been in front of Eli, too.
MX Rider yeah and I’m sure without Tomac’s crashes and terrible starts he would have beat a lot more people too 😂 that’s racing buddy
@@gerardyamaha141 Don't think Tomac would have done any better. His best up in 4th he got only when Searle's bike broke. All others in front of him did better than Tomac. Not to forget Febvre and Gajser didn't compete, with them Eli surely would have been even further back.
Mx rider is such an Eli hater
Have to appreciate Roger's honesty here, he knows we are up against it in Assen
These series gets better everytime!
Fantastic film ! Looking forward to next year. !!
Cairoli il nostro eroe❤
I love motocross no matter what country you rep, however I do have the utmost respect for the European MX riders..I prefer watching the world gp rather than supercross, motocross is where it's at for me anyway 👍😁
Great series red bull! thank you
Hoping for more! Grand job
I'm a tomac fan but definitely jeffrey herlings is the new motocross king
Hes been the king carolli punk him
Lol let Jeffrey compete in the ama national's he would get smoked

Oh fuck no! herlings wouldn’t do shit in nationals like roczen and musquin. Tomac gonna eat him alive just like all them euro boys!
We should mention USA team manager Roger de Coster was one the world's greatest MX riders from the 60's up to 1980. A great former world champion.
Those videos are the mouth watering utter brilliance.
Emocionante, vivi esse momento em Red Bud e guardarei para sempre.
Next year it will be my first time watching mxon ;D From Portugal to The Netherlands

Great series!
Pass the torch, years & years of Outdoor moto’s only .. Ofcourse the GP guys are gonna get gnarly. You’re gonna just gonna hand Tomac and Plessinger their ass bc you don’t put in the effort. These guys deserve the credit 100% -AMA Fan
I was at mxon at redbud! It was frickin epic!
amazing work guys cant wait for more mmmmmm red bull
red bull thnx for making this series
Inasmuch as Tomac is a phenomenal rider, the days of Carmichael, Windham, Stewart, Villopoto, and Dungey seem very far away.
Herlings, Cairoli, and Prado are simply on a whole different level now. We're going to get smoked next year at the MXON. Not happy about it but there it is.
Yea, there are VERY FEW that are "that level" (or gifted) of a rider. Carmicheal, Stewart (when he didn't crash), Villopoto, McGrath, Everts, Cairoli, Herlings…. VERY FEW are among them. Tomac has shown that he's not.
Wheres the coverage for the aussies?
Love this series :)
Italy proud to be second in this edition! TC222🇮🇹🤟
Amarican are nice weather riders 😂😂
Makes me sick to even relive that for USA, but it was great racing in the end and Glenn was fantastic I was happy for him. Again great job MX World.
i have seen this video like 40 times xD
Thank you redbull
Living 15min from Red Bud. This race was amazing.....even though it was a mud fest. And yes.....the Euros are better than us outdoors. We got our butts kicked! Couldn't have 3 better riders.
Cameron Barber maybe the three best outdoor riders wozldve been better, not just the 3 best rodes ....
That is what I mean haha Tomac won the championship and so did Aaron, and Barcia is solid out doors as well, especially at Red Bud and Anderson was hurt. They were the 3 best guys we could have brought and we got dismantled. lol @@Hermelin.G1
No mention of team Australia who was leading the overall at one point and came home 4th overall. Hunter Lawrence coming second in 1 or 2 motos on a 250f. Too bad redbull is stuck up their own arse and wont acknowledge anyone else.

Why did this get me so hype
Europeans ride for their country, Us riders ride for their wallet. them boys got spanked in their home backyard
Yep. A buddy took some pics of ToMac and Barcia in the announcers tower, I want to Photoshop a bubble over they're heads that reads "I'd like to win this Chamberlain trophy that I can't take home- But I've got a million things on my mind right now"...
Stupid comment. Do you think Tomac would be there if it was about his wallet. He was there cause he wanted to win.
lol.. didnt seem to with all the bunch of excuses they had after the race
WILLY MANSILLA I agree with you. There’s a lot of money in supercross, and it takes away from USA performing well at this event. I wish supercross didn’t exist. I hate the tracks, hate the commentators, and now I hate what it has done to American motocross
And the funny thing that Carmichael, Mcgrath, Steward and alot of greats also race SX, and did quite well. Im not buying the sx thing, but i get what you say, Sx is boring with all those cookie cutter tracks, follow the leader, and with taming the tracks like the first 7 rounds, small whoops and of course awfull commentaring.

Very cool film

Hell yeah
11:22 to 11:40 resume of the whole story...

Brasil podia valorizar o motocross igual no EUA
Herlings kicks everyones ass...no mather the nationality... :)
And Coldenhoff
Nobody ever heard of him before
And then he crashes and ruins another season
Awesome
When will there be a new episode? I really love the series!
As a brit I must day the French, Dutch, and Belgians are the best motocross riders in the world .....
Callum Sinclair i must admit the brits are very solid riders, and underrated. Searle had a lot of bad luck when he was paired up with Cairoli for a few seasons (injuries and all that) while last season he bagged some top 7 finishes when filling in for the injured Kawi riders. But even that result is something the regular Kawi’s get all the time. Shame that Searle retired from international competitions so early.
Simpson, Nathan Watson and Sterry are also fast. I wonder tho, what made Nathan leave the MXGP? Does he just prefer Enduro in general?
I think there is a kid with the number 84 feeling pretty good after this race...
not really he got smoked by Glen Coldenoff pretty bad both motos
I wouldn`t call it smoked.. Of al the guys his team mate is probably the only guy Herlings is OK with to be infront. And he beats Coldenhof on regular basis in the MXGP. Oow , and he is the 2018 MXGP camp. So i think ; zero fucks given.... For him all the other guys , aspecially the so called "best rides of the world" would be way worse.... But , thats just my opion..
@@stevestiffler9120 'both motos' as they only raced each other in one single moto all weekend long, quite hard to do. After all of his injuries Jeffrey tries to minimize the risks as far as possible, so why catch Glenn when they ride for the same team?
ThanuttyWanker #Daily it was also because Herlings fell in the beginning. If he was tailing Glenn and felt faster he would have passed him easily.
But look at the 2019 MXdN, Herlings was actually pushing for a win, but he crashed like 3 times on the second moto alone, while Glenn cruised to victory. Thankfully Herlings woke himself up for a mentality change because his constant pushing was only giving him high injury risks.
Amazing
I like Aaron Plessinger, he seems a real humble down to earth honest guy.
I'm American personally EUROPEAN has better overall riders
i hope so americans race motocross part time, europe should be better. put herlings into the supercross season he wont get 1 top 5
KSH172 Herlings smoked Gajser in MXGP. Meanwhile Gajser gets a top 5 in the MEC supercross event. What makes you think Herlings can’t match that 😂
@@liamvandeseijp6901 im a gajser fan but there was no musquin, roczen, anderson and no webb. the only top guy timmy beat was Barcia. obviously with practice hed be incredible, hes a world champion but he really beat no one at MEC

Excellent excellent...I can't even call this a video, this is FILMMAKING ART...
And it's about MY SPORT... motocross.
As a former Cycle New reporter I've interviewed several of those seen in this film. Joel Smets was the most interesting. I was all star struck sitting next to him at Southwick. He is a rough kind of guy, but then, this ain't golf or baseball, you need TWO BALLS to play at this game. Braaaap.
The first time Joel Smets threw a leg over an mx bike was at the age of 17, getting five times word champion later on. What a talent he was!
Buen video, algun dia quiero que regrese el mundial a mi pais Mexico.

No I want more episodes 😭
I’m not much of a musquin fan but team France should have had him.
Showtime 319 they proved to not need him after taking the team W without him. Not much of a musquin fan either, but as an American, it hurts to see a them do so well without musquin
@Silvio Berlusconi That's the point.
Marvin is the truth I like him alot
If team USA had Anderson, Osborne, and Tomac, it would have been a different story
Yeah maybe would have had a chance of getting 5th overall ? 😂
Yeah and if Romain Febvre and Tim Gajser had been there it would have been even worse for team USA.

«c’est nous contre le reste du monde, les européens s’associent pour nous battre » mais c’est la France 🇫🇷 qui gagne depuis une paire d’année VIVE LA FRANCE 🇫🇷
FYI - if we ever get the race back here in the USA, please get some portable jumbotrons. I know the jumbotrons are available because the Indianapolis Motorspeedway uses them every year for the 500 and they sure add to the experience. I went to Red Bud for the MX of Nations and had a blast but even the announcers had no idea where the riders were or in what position they were in until they would come around in view. I was embarrassed for the US that we couldn't offer such a simple amenity. There were a lot of visitors from around the world there and we were more interested in getting the drunks to yell "Red Bud" than we were at putting on a quality show...so sad! :(
Joe Wahrer there was at least one portable Jumbotron that I saw. You must have missed it. It was amazing to watch and keep track of.
Joe Wahrer it’s because their is absolutely no money in the sport of motocross anymore except for the people at the top of the food chain and athletes. Sad to see what the sport has become in America at least.
As the legend himself said today we had a riding lesson...better learn....Roger De Coster....mission impossible for Assen.
I hope to see Paul Jonass next year .... he missed the mxgp this year cuz of injury, but I bet he's gonna be in the top 6 next year
The Europeans don’t see competitors in the US riders because they’re another level
I'm confused. Don't the Americans hold more MXON wins than EVERYBODY else plus longest win streaks? If you don't view a powerhouse like that as competition, that just makes you "stupid"! Right?
Race on a dry track and see the difference (MXoN "is" an FIM ran race). Europe has even mudded their tracks to try to beat us before, but couldn't. They must have felt threatened enough to do that again (with Tomac).
@@frankiek2269 the last mxon you guys won was in 2011 its 2019 at the moment if you forgotten so can I rant about uk winning loads of mxon fuck no it was years ago the game changes it's all about that year come on

Where do you think 'Americans' came from? Ricky Johnson, Jeff Matiasevich, Danny LaPorte, Mike LaRocco, Jeremy McGrath ... are you seeing a pattern here??
AMA fans before MXoN 2012 = “USA produces the fastest riders”
AMA fans after MXoN 2012 = “you cant base it off one race, they need to compete against each other in a whole series. Also European riders need to come race supercross”
so true ... but expected ...there is always excuses , its impossible other riders are just faster ..cant be
Oh stop, as an American I can say we aren't the fastest for some time now.
@@jasonc1817 Agreed - can't see this changing either until there's lesser focus on supercross to allow more time for outdoor racing - which I know will never happen!
Nah. We got flat smoked. Not a threat at any point. Next year in the sand it will be a similar disaster for the Americans. I love my home boys but realistically our crew better bring extra tear offs, they're going to need them.
Cool, cool, that was a nice mini-documentary and all, but where is the race??
It’s not showing the race because they don’t have the legal rights to do so.
Doesn't matter what track !
Gotta turn up to win !
I watched most of the gp season and it's crazy how much rougher thier tracks are.It also seems like the europeans are much more passionate. If you dont think herlings can come over here and dominate your delusional.Herlings would struggle at first in supercross but after a year or two he would win there too.The u.s is going to get smashed next year in the sand.

@@lithium25693 let me get back to you now
European Motocross riders are on another Level .. they have been for many years now ... a lot to do with the tracks they race on ... Americans race on groomed mickey mouse technical tracks .... whereas European race on real proper fast rough tracks, that are allowed to deteriorate over a race weekend. ...but what the hell do i know, after
following the sport of Motocross for over 30 years ......
The only riders currently that are on the Level of the European riders is Australia actually ... Australia finished ahead of the US at RedBud this year, and Australia won the ISDE event for the Second time this year. Australian's are also at the highest level of Rally Raid Dakar and have riders that can compete with the best of the Europeans.
No mention of any of the Australian riders in this video, and Australia actually when into the final race as the leading country in front of France and the Europeans, and consistently stayed ahead of the Americans over the whole final race....Typical...it's like the Australians weren't even there...Why are Australians so good at riding dirt bikes..simple we have a hell of a lotta dirt out here!
Then you must remember when there were no double jumps in europe.
Of course many of the regular MXGP European tracks have "technical" sections very similar to the American outdoor tracks ... still I'm sticking with my comment, the bits in-between Europeans tend to leave it like it is over a race weekend ... whereas Americans ... close up shop and the riders have a Barbie ... when the track is deemed unsafe to race on, and is being Graded during a race weekend.
I think us Aussies are so good because we are so loose. Hunter should do well next year as his local was coolum which is a sand track
Coolum, That track is relentless..
lo mejor de lo mejor el motocross es el mejor deporte del mundo
