I wish the hell I would have to prove anything to my futire MIL for permission to marry her son.. her son is grown, we don't need her "permission". If he do, he isn't worth the headache.. WTF is she?..she's not my boss, my mom or my savior.. I don't have to prove anything to her regarding my life or marriage.. I'm not marrying her, therfore I don't answer to her.
story one is 59 minutes. lots and lots of potential MIL hate of art, artists, and any girl marrying her precious son. it got hard to finish because its just SO much hatred of art
My dads bigger than your dad. He sounds like he is still a school kid. Love it when people puffed up with their own importance fall flat on their face.
I really have a hard time understanding how these parents think that a marriage can’t happen unless they give the okay. I mean aren’t both parties adults & legally able to get married then what else is required to marry, especially here in the US. I get wanting your families/parents to like & at least try to get along with your partner but it’s not truly required just easier. So some of these stories go way too far. I remember when I was married to my first husband my parents didn’t really care for my choice but they tried to not to let their displeasure about him to get in the way of our marriage. And when my marriage failed at least they never told me “we told you so”.

It all depends on the culture and/or how you were raised.
It also depends on tradition. Some people are very traditional while others aren’t traditional at all and some people are in between

Jonny's mother is a supreme drama queen. Her histrionics that sent her to the ER is proof that she has to be the center of attention.
That second story I read. Gale is insane.
Gale is insufferable 😣
Yes.😮
Gale's laugh is soooo creepy.
I always thought my wife looked pretty in her birthday suit, and I still do. But I’m biased.
NO MEANS NO PSYCHO!!
That vegan teacher would be so…. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
