This is why I don’t like buying from third party vendors. All YSL items comes with an authenticity card and as well as the YSL tag but then again it also depends on the vendor. I’m with you on being a little skeptical. It is a cute bag.

It should come in a box when you buy from YSL bags come in boxs i would call them and ask why it was not in its YSL boxs . Am sorry you feel a bit let down but the bag is a stunner xxxxx

I've bought few items from YSL directly...nothing I've bought has ever come with an actual Chanel type plastic authenticity card but the things I've received came with a little paper envelope (which is wrapped in clear plastic) and contained care and control cards. Looks like it might be a return, I'm pretty sure the chain strap should have been wrapped to prevent damage :/ x

It’s not a plastic one like Chanel’s, but it is a paper authenticity card and it’s in a little envelope with the care cards. All my YSL bags that I’ve purchased from the Boutique or online have come with this
I would definitely contact farfetch. Maybe they can offer an additional discount at least. Unless you think you will resell in the near future, I would personally keep it if you love it especially because you beat the price increase. Not having the paperwork and all that doesn’t really matter if you keep the bag, only when you resell, but sometimes even then it doesn’t make a huge difference. Wow I love the colour, I’d totally buy this green 💚 However, it’s a bit of a issue - does getting a ‘discounted’ bag mean you take a hit on experience, packaging and little extras? I wouldn’t be happy with this but like you, I’d also be trying to ensure I could get the bag I wanted (given limited colour), with all of the bells and whistles.

I won't purchase again from them as I too have been disappointed but feel like I beat the price increase? If you do call and get a further discount please let us know? My gold YSL had light scratches and seemed handles a bit? UGH
I’m so sorry about your experience. I have recently bought a ysl bag from farfetch and they said they have sourced it from a UK store. The item came packaged well with all the paperwork. Please call them and they might give you additional discount. x
I would contact Farfetch for sure. I ordered a denim puffer from Saks earlier this year and it came with the YSL box, dust bag, care cards and authenticity card. I’m not a fan of the camera bag because of the zipper, but I love that color. I’ve also been eyeing the wristlet or for a similar price you could get the triquilt wallet on chain. I know it isn’t as much room as the camera bag. The other option, although a little more money, is the triquilt handbag in this vert fonce color.
I've had several issues with ysl orders through Farfetch too! Last time I got a pink beige woc and it definitely looked super used where the corners were all dirty and there was no paperwork either! My most recent ysl clutch from Farfetch also came with 3 popped stitches :(
In my experience with shopping from Farfetch, packaging varies depending on the shop it’s shipped from! Just recently got my new YSL bag and also no box, just two dust bags. It was beautifully packaged though with all the wrapping protective paper…
Love the bag and well done getting the lower price plus the discount. Can't say I'm that surprised about the sloppy packing though. I have made one FF purchase, a Marc Jacobs mini tote which was sent from a store in Japan. They stuffed it in a small box, barely taped it shut, and when it arrived at my door, the box was literally wide open and the bag could have fallen out. Also the bag itself seemed less than perfect -- the leather grain on the handles did not match, one handle was smooth and the other was pebbled. I felt like the boutique had this one in the back and were glad to get rid of it? I communicated back and forth with FF about this and they kept asking if I wanted to send it back for "repair", but it was a sold out color and I otherwise love it, so I just kept it. Farfetch is mostly great but they don't have control over how their items are packed at all.
That's very frustrating. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. I definitely feel in the same boat. I'll be sure to update everyone when I hear back from them.
Farfetch is hit and miss. They have absolutely excellent service and they correct mistakes at lightning speed, so I always feel safe and definitely would recommend them. I received a beige Toy Loulou with a pen mark in the front. Within a few hours it was picked up, I received my money back within three days and that includes a weekend. When I ordered from Brown’s through Farfetch, it was impeccably packaged, but that was the only time.
I've purchased several items from Farfetch and my items have come packaged in a variety of ways. Sometimes with or w/o a box, a Farfetch tag, a YSL tag, the care booklets, handles may or may not be wrapped. I just recently bought a mini puffer in a grey color from FF just before the price increase. It came without the wrapped handles, but included everything else. I think it was either a return or a display model. I decided to keep it since I inspected the bag closely and there's nothing wrong with it, plus the FF site now shows the new price and there's almost $500 difference between the old and new price (including my sales tax) if I decided to return it and repurchase. The care booklet does have a white piece of paper that has a serial number that should match with the number inside the bag. I agree with what others have said. It only matters if you plan to resell the bag later. If there is nothing wrong with the bag, I would keep it. Please keep us updated on what you decide to do.
Hello! I love the color of this bag. I really want a card holder in this color. I see the tassel be bit inside of the YSL boutique. You should’ve definitely got a little card/booklet thing in plastic. I got 2 with my clutch. It looks authentic. It may be a return. Because when I order from the Y sell through Saks it comes in a box and more wrapping. I hope it works out. 💚
Looks nice. FARFETCH purses comes in their Farfetch box instead of each name brand it sells. However sometimes employees don't put everything together and things get lost. Even Chanel leave out my gloves and care booklet... The looks authentic and nice though. Great price too. Up to u.
The tassel does get deformed according to how it is stored, that is normal. I used to store my bag on a shelf with the tassel hanging on the side of it. I sold mine cause it got so popular that I got over it 😅. I also found it not to fit all I needed it to for daily wear, it was too small for that for me. Plus, it is not the most convenient to open and close. The leather is very hardwearing though. You should have gotten the cards for sure!! You need to raise that. Good luck! 💚
My Kate only came with a care card and a style card (just a paper tape that said the style name), no authenticity card. It's too bad about the packaging, but at least it seems like there aren't any issues with the actual bag. It's pretty.
My first YSL was ordered from Selfridges. It was the Lou camera bag in black. It came without authenticity cards and the tassel was messed up. It fixed the tassel and kept it because I got it below retail. You got a great deal and the bag is beautiful. I say enjoy the bag and forget about the cards…😊

Great bag! Congratulations. I prefer to buy from YSL directly. My recent bag purchase came with a black sturdy box, all paperwork in a small black envelope and all the chains neatly wrapped in foam paper (which took a while to remove:) I know I pay more for the experience.
I love that color. I think I have the same color but in the wallet on chain envelope bag. Yes the bags usually come with authenticity card but some stores don’t give you everything. If you buy from YSL it comes with box and black packaging and all the paperwork in an envelope. It is really beautiful. 💚
Beautiful colour! I ordered the same bag in the colour dark natura from farfetch as well l right before the price increase. It came with a box, dustbag, tissue paper and authenticity envelope in the bag, but no wrapping on the tassel or chain. I'm guessing the packaging can vary depending on which boutique it comes from as well... Hope you can contact farfetch customer service and resolve the issue!
It's a great bag in a beautiful colour combo! 🤩💚 It does feel a little strange you didn't get any paperwork with it, I've received boxed bags without dustbags before, but yeah, you should contact them and ask where the paperwork is 🤔
I have purchased YSL on line and in the store and always came well packaged in a box with white sticky protector on the strap and authenticity card. Your bag is beautiful but it looks like it was a returned. I would request an exchange from FF
I don't have a YSL bag but I do have a YSL card case, zippy wallet, and eyeglasses and they all come with a black YSL hard box, a dustbag, an envelop with the card care and a control/authenticity card (not like the Chanel one but just an ordinary black card that certifies its authenticity with a sticker of the item details). So for a bag that doesn't have these things with it that comes with SLG's or accessories seems strange, indeed. You see, the items they sell come from different stockists or sellers (UK/EU) so it's likely this was a return and was haphazardly packed by the seller. I would def contact Farfetch about this.
YSL have authenticity card but is just paper…more like a control cards. I have purchased one from Bloomingdales here in UAE where the YSL boutique is and still no box… I don’t think that this missing paper card should stop you of keeping the bag.Enjoy it!
I was wondering when you were going to pull the trigger and get this (or something from YSL in this green). It doesn’t hurt to try to contact FF and ask about the paperwork if you’re really curious or else that’ll always be on your mind! Keep us posted.
I got the Rive Gauche tote in 2019 from the Webster. I ordered with them because as you said YSL doesn't include themselves in discount codes but I was able to get 15% off there. Anyway, it was sent in a dust bag, protective tissue paper & a little black Saint Laurent envelope inside the bag. I can't tell you if it's an authenticity card or not because I've never opened it lol. I also recently ordered the ceramic Saint Laurent coffee mug from the YSL website and that came like the Hope diamond. It was in a massive Saint Laurent box, tons of tissue paper and like 3 pieces of paper work. So I'm thinking that other vendors may have to purchase the YSL packaging and just choose not to? I could be wrong.

This was so interesting. I didn't realize that stores carried different colors, or that its a tossup on packaging from resellers like FF. I think you got a great deal on the mini Lou so congrats. I just happened to go into my local boutique before the surprise increase. Obviously I didn't get a deal, but I managed to get the Loulou before the price increase so I feel like I did! Thanks for this review. I would not have been thrilled with the way it came packaged either, hope you at least get the appropriate paperwork! It is something that somewhat takes away from the overall "luxury" experience. I purchased an absolute dupe for a Burberry scarf recently on Etsy for $40. It's 100% cashmere. It's over $500 cheaper than a Burberry scarf. But the lady who sold it packaged it beautifully, gave me a handwritten note thanking me for my business, and made me feel like I got the deal of the century. I'm thrilled with it. That stuff is little, but my point is that it matters. It's those little details that sets a business apart from all the others.
I really agree that it's all the little things can matter, and even more with bigger purchases. It's not the I don't love the bag, but I expected it to come with certain things. I wouldn't tell an art collector not to care about the certificate of authenticity for a painting, you know?
Your bag is pretty, congratulations. My YSL bag from Neiman Marcus came in a black box in a dust bag. There was a card sized black envelope inside a clear baggie. The envelope contained a small paper card with product code plus care booklets. Hope this helps. I love your channel ❤

No Saint laurent box but that was expected but it was packaged quite similar to yours; the chain didn't have any foam packaging I usually get at the boutique but I had a plastic protective extra layer outside so if it was rained on it would have been okay. As all the bags come from different boutiques there is discrepancies between shops hence the way it is packaged. Farfetch needs to really create a standard. It is not fair!

I have several YSL bags and I can assure you they do come with a small black "Saint-Laurent Paris" envelope including an authenticity card, a little booklet, a white card describing your item and even a card with a control number on it. Please do contact Farfetch, these papers are important for the value of your bag if one day you wish to resell it! Nice bag, so!
I bought saint laurent bag (sac de jour) from Farfetch recently and it came with the tags, certificate cards, dust bags & packaged properly. This seems sloppy. I would contact them! (Even the sac de jour strap was wrapped up in polystyrene wrapper-so I think yours might be a return)

No tags on it (last time it had Farfetch tags that said do not cut if you want to return) and the saint laurent leather strap is completely bent out of shape where it looks like it’s been shoved in the bag and twisted out of shape. Also not much packaging in the box to keep it secure either. I’ve just called them & they were nice to deal with. I’m sending it back and getting a refund. Hope you return yours too. Good luck

I would contact them to be safe. It was due to your previous video on the price increase that I decided to buy the small lou lou from the YSL website last week. My bag didn't come with the authenticity card or the care booklet even though it came DIRECTLY from their site. I ended up getting one from the SA at my local Saint Laurent store. Apparently she said it's supposed to come with one. So now I got an authenticity card that doesn't line up with the serial number of my bag
That's so odd that they gave you a different card. And weird you didn't get it in the first place! I'm going to see what Farfetch has to say. But I'm glad you beat the price increase too!
They can be, but it’s more of feeling comfortable with a boutique actually sending over everything they were supposed to. And in the event I did for some reason want or need to sell it, a lot of people prefer getting a “full set.” I know it’s a little silly to many people 😅 but it’s what I’m comfortable with for the moment.

I would tell them you want the rest of the paperwork. Tell them if down the line you want to cell you need it. Its such a pretty color. Love it! Enjoy !!
I am getting such mixed feedback about this! A number of people have said the bags do some with cards though. I’m wondering if it’s a bit like how some stores remove tags before they sell the item. Although it’d be a weird thing to remove, in this case!
I can send you a picture on IG of the cards, its more like a care card and envelope not exactly an authenticity card but you do usually get it when purchasing from YSL. Beautiful bag by the way, love the color!!
This is crazy you didn’t get a box or ysl auth information . I also beat the prices increase with Farfetch. I received my order this Wednesday shipped from LA and used Cassie discount code 10% off ALMOST Purchased this very bag mini Lou camera bag in the dark beige, but I ended up getting the quilted wristlet instead!!! ( same style you also showed) in the dark beige. I received aYSL box the authenticity cards, dust bag, YSL tissue paper and the YSl price tag sticker in the bag. Plus you can fit so so much in the quilted wristlet

I have the iPhone 12 Pro and I can fit my phone, LV 6 key holder, Lv key pouch, Lv business card holder , lip stick and a big size purse perfume. It even fits the LV mini pochette or LV agenda PM just for ideas.That why I went with the wristlet because I believe I can fit roughly the same in that vs the mini Lou camera
Most online retailers are getting ride of all the packaging extras like the box to reduce their environmental waste. I do always get the cards with my bag though and some stuffing in there
Yea, it should come with the tiny black envelope that’s covered in plastic wrap inside the inner pocket. Definitely contact Farfetch. It’s even more concerning since it came from an actual YSL store in the US. Even the shoes come with the envelope.
Oh I love the bag! Gorgeous colour and I find it really suits you and looks so nice on you. I’m so sorry about your experience. This is always my reservation with ordering from farfetch or not straight from the designer. When you are paying such a high price you definitely should get the little booklet/ card and I don’t think I could keep it without one….the box would be amazing but you can live without I guess for the discount. If I were you I would ask if you can exchange it :( I would definitely try to keep that bag in your collection - such a nice addition…good luck..
That green is a beautiful colour. I could feel your disappointment though with the way it was packaged. My recent Lou camera bag direct from ysl came with a black envelope inside with cards, stuffed to the brim with tissue paper, tassel was bound and straps were wrapped.
I know I shouldn't get hung up on the packaging if the bag itself is fine, but I do want the paperwork it's supposed to come with! It's beautiful though. I'm waiting to hear back from Farfetch.

I would call Farfetch. I recently bought from Farfetch and it came with all the paperwork.. I feel it should come with the little envelope with the style card. They might be able to provide an additional discount..

100% I would contact Farfetch! They didn’t wrap the tassel, no stickers to protect the hardware and you don’t have paperwork to verify purchase/authenticity. I’d ask for a new bag that’s fully intact. Very odd, at that price point the presentation should be much better. You paid a lot for that item. Notwithstanding that, the bag is absolutely beautiful! Definitely has me thinking about upgrading my current camera bag.

Hi, I sadly made a really bad experience with FF. I got a defect pair of Saint Laurent boots I payed €1000 for. First time I wore them the zipper broke and they didn't change them. Worst customer experience. I will never buy from them any again. I got trapped by a youtube discound code but should have gone to the boutique 😔 maybe they dispose better customer service for influencers .....

Hihi..There should be an authenticity card in unopened clear plastic package at a minimum for SL products. This is weird.. it’s a gorgeous color. Just email FF to clarify the missing items. :-)
That’s terrible! YSL bags usually come with the chains wrapped. The authenticity card and care card comes in a small black YSL paper envelope. And the bag is usually stuffed. The tassel should have been wrapped too. Send it back for an exchange. PS the bag is beautiful! And I dream about being 5,7” and flat chested but sadly my genes won’t allow.

Farfetch is always hit and miss because it is just a front for thousands of boutiques. I just bought a ysl from matches fashion and didnt get a ysl box, but it doesnt bother me. I dont think the ysl card matters, they arent individual to the bag like Chanel, just generic. If you got a discount and it is a rare colour i would just enjoy it!
I don't care about the box at all, but a lot of people have said the bags come with authenticity notes. I don't plan to sell, but as a collector, I do want all the pieces it was supposed to come with. I'm going to see what Farfetch has to say.

No authenticity card ever comes with the bag. You should have researched it before saying that.

Yeah, it's several things to consider. I'm annoyed that this price increase is in the way. Otherwise I'd happily just return and repurchase.

Mine came with a box and nicely wrapped with authenticity card, it really depends on which country or store it comes from mine came from the UK

Its probably a returned bag. Stunning color tho! YSL bags just comes with care cards. They arent really authenticity cards anyways.

In my experience with shopping from Farfetch, packaging varies depending on the shop it’s shipped from! Just recently got my new YSL bag and also no box, just two dust bags. It was beautifully packaged though with all the wrapping protective paper…
That's interesting to know how widely it can vary. I don't care much about the box, but I do want the paperwork it's supposed to come with.
Same i received the bag in 2 dust bags but it wasnt wrapped beautiful.
Love the bag and well done getting the lower price plus the discount. Can't say I'm that surprised about the sloppy packing though. I have made one FF purchase, a Marc Jacobs mini tote which was sent from a store in Japan. They stuffed it in a small box, barely taped it shut, and when it arrived at my door, the box was literally wide open and the bag could have fallen out. Also the bag itself seemed less than perfect -- the leather grain on the handles did not match, one handle was smooth and the other was pebbled. I felt like the boutique had this one in the back and were glad to get rid of it? I communicated back and forth with FF about this and they kept asking if I wanted to send it back for "repair", but it was a sold out color and I otherwise love it, so I just kept it. Farfetch is mostly great but they don't have control over how their items are packed at all.

Farfetch is hit and miss. They have absolutely excellent service and they correct mistakes at lightning speed, so I always feel safe and definitely would recommend them. I received a beige Toy Loulou with a pen mark in the front. Within a few hours it was picked up, I received my money back within three days and that includes a weekend. When I ordered from Brown’s through Farfetch, it was impeccably packaged, but that was the only time.

I've purchased several items from Farfetch and my items have come packaged in a variety of ways. Sometimes with or w/o a box, a Farfetch tag, a YSL tag, the care booklets, handles may or may not be wrapped. I just recently bought a mini puffer in a grey color from FF just before the price increase. It came without the wrapped handles, but included everything else. I think it was either a return or a display model. I decided to keep it since I inspected the bag closely and there's nothing wrong with it, plus the FF site now shows the new price and there's almost $500 difference between the old and new price (including my sales tax) if I decided to return it and repurchase. The care booklet does have a white piece of paper that has a serial number that should match with the number inside the bag. I agree with what others have said. It only matters if you plan to resell the bag later. If there is nothing wrong with the bag, I would keep it. Please keep us updated on what you decide to do.

Hello! I love the color of this bag. I really want a card holder in this color. I see the tassel be bit inside of the YSL boutique. You should’ve definitely got a little card/booklet thing in plastic. I got 2 with my clutch. It looks authentic. It may be a return. Because when I order from the Y sell through Saks it comes in a box and more wrapping. I hope it works out. 💚

Looks nice. FARFETCH purses comes in their Farfetch box instead of each name brand it sells. However sometimes employees don't put everything together and things get lost. Even Chanel leave out my gloves and care booklet... The looks authentic and nice though. Great price too. Up to u.

The tassel does get deformed according to how it is stored, that is normal. I used to store my bag on a shelf with the tassel hanging on the side of it. I sold mine cause it got so popular that I got over it 😅. I also found it not to fit all I needed it to for daily wear, it was too small for that for me. Plus, it is not the most convenient to open and close. The leather is very hardwearing though. You should have gotten the cards for sure!! You need to raise that. Good luck! 💚

My Kate only came with a care card and a style card (just a paper tape that said the style name), no authenticity card. It's too bad about the packaging, but at least it seems like there aren't any issues with the actual bag. It's pretty.
Yes true, I'm glad the bag is okay! I it's been interesting to see all the mixed comments about how YSL products are packaged.
My first YSL was ordered from Selfridges. It was the Lou camera bag in black. It came without authenticity cards and the tassel was messed up. It fixed the tassel and kept it because I got it below retail. You got a great deal and the bag is beautiful. I say enjoy the bag and forget about the cards…😊

Great bag! Congratulations. I prefer to buy from YSL directly. My recent bag purchase came with a black sturdy box, all paperwork in a small black envelope and all the chains neatly wrapped in foam paper (which took a while to remove:) I know I pay more for the experience.

I love that color. I think I have the same color but in the wallet on chain envelope bag. Yes the bags usually come with authenticity card but some stores don’t give you everything. If you buy from YSL it comes with box and black packaging and all the paperwork in an envelope. It is really beautiful. 💚

Beautiful colour! I ordered the same bag in the colour dark natura from farfetch as well l right before the price increase. It came with a box, dustbag, tissue paper and authenticity envelope in the bag, but no wrapping on the tassel or chain. I'm guessing the packaging can vary depending on which boutique it comes from as well... Hope you can contact farfetch customer service and resolve the issue!

I have purchased YSL on line and in the store and always came well packaged in a box with white sticky protector on the strap and authenticity card. Your bag is beautiful but it looks like it was a returned. I would request an exchange from FF

I don't have a YSL bag but I do have a YSL card case, zippy wallet, and eyeglasses and they all come with a black YSL hard box, a dustbag, an envelop with the card care and a control/authenticity card (not like the Chanel one but just an ordinary black card that certifies its authenticity with a sticker of the item details). So for a bag that doesn't have these things with it that comes with SLG's or accessories seems strange, indeed. You see, the items they sell come from different stockists or sellers (UK/EU) so it's likely this was a return and was haphazardly packed by the seller. I would def contact Farfetch about this.

YSL have authenticity card but is just paper…more like a control cards. I have purchased one from Bloomingdales here in UAE where the YSL boutique is and still no box… I don’t think that this missing paper card should stop you of keeping the bag.Enjoy it!

I got the Rive Gauche tote in 2019 from the Webster. I ordered with them because as you said YSL doesn't include themselves in discount codes but I was able to get 15% off there. Anyway, it was sent in a dust bag, protective tissue paper & a little black Saint Laurent envelope inside the bag. I can't tell you if it's an authenticity card or not because I've never opened it lol. I also recently ordered the ceramic Saint Laurent coffee mug from the YSL website and that came like the Hope diamond. It was in a massive Saint Laurent box, tons of tissue paper and like 3 pieces of paper work. So I'm thinking that other vendors may have to purchase the YSL packaging and just choose not to? I could be wrong.

This was so interesting. I didn't realize that stores carried different colors, or that its a tossup on packaging from resellers like FF. I think you got a great deal on the mini Lou so congrats. I just happened to go into my local boutique before the surprise increase. Obviously I didn't get a deal, but I managed to get the Loulou before the price increase so I feel like I did! Thanks for this review. I would not have been thrilled with the way it came packaged either, hope you at least get the appropriate paperwork! It is something that somewhat takes away from the overall "luxury" experience. I purchased an absolute dupe for a Burberry scarf recently on Etsy for $40. It's 100% cashmere. It's over $500 cheaper than a Burberry scarf. But the lady who sold it packaged it beautifully, gave me a handwritten note thanking me for my business, and made me feel like I got the deal of the century. I'm thrilled with it. That stuff is little, but my point is that it matters. It's those little details that sets a business apart from all the others.
I really agree that it's all the little things can matter, and even more with bigger purchases. It's not the I don't love the bag, but I expected it to come with certain things. I wouldn't tell an art collector not to care about the certificate of authenticity for a painting, you know?
Your bag is pretty, congratulations. My YSL bag from Neiman Marcus came in a black box in a dust bag. There was a card sized black envelope inside a clear baggie. The envelope contained a small paper card with product code plus care booklets. Hope this helps. I love your channel ❤

@@classicswithaquirk I just received it! came with YSL dust bag and paperwork. No Saint laurent box but that was expected but it was packaged quite similar to yours; the chain didn't have any foam packaging I usually get at the boutique but I had a plastic protective extra layer outside so if it was rained on it would have been okay. As all the bags come from different boutiques there is discrepancies between shops hence the way it is packaged. Farfetch needs to really create a standard. It is not fair!

I think you should return the bag and get the wristlet and a conversion kit so you can make it into a WOC.

I have several YSL bags and I can assure you they do come with a small black "Saint-Laurent Paris" envelope including an authenticity card, a little booklet, a white card describing your item and even a card with a control number on it. I bought saint laurent bag (sac de jour) from Farfetch recently and it came with the tags, certificate cards, dust bags & packaged properly. This seems sloppy. I would contact them! (Even the sac de jour strap was wrapped up in polystyrene wrapper-so I think yours might be a return)

No tags on it (last time it had Farfetch tags that said do not cut if you want to return) and the saint laurent leather strap is completely bent out of shape where it looks like it’s been shoved in the bag and twisted out of shape. Also not much packaging in the box to keep it secure either. I’ve just called them & they were nice to deal with. I’m sending it back and getting a refund. Hope you return yours too. Good luck

I would contact them to be safe. It was due to your previous video on the price increase that I decided to buy the small lou lou from the YSL website last week. My bag didn't come with the authenticity card or the care booklet even though it came DIRECTLY from their site. I ended up getting one from the SA at my local Saint Laurent store. Apparently she said it's supposed to come with one. So now I got an authenticity card that doesn't line up with the serial number of my bag

But to be honest how would an authenticity care really help you in the future? They seems easy to copy too
They can be, but it’s more of feeling comfortable with a boutique actually sending over everything they were supposed to. And in the event I did for some reason want or need to sell it, a lot of people prefer getting a “full set.” I know it’s a little silly to many people 😅 but it’s what I’m comfortable with for the moment.

I am getting such mixed feedback about this! A number of people have said the bags do some with cards though. I’m wondering if it’s a bit like how some stores remove tags before they sell the item. Although it’d be a weird thing to remove, in this case!
I can send you a picture on IG of the cards, its more like a care card and envelope not exactly an authenticity card but you do usually get it when purchasing from YSL. Beautiful bag by the way, love the color!!

I received my order this Wednesday shipped from LA and used Cassie discount code 10% off ALMOST Purchased this very bag mini Lou camera bag in the dark beige, but I ended up getting the quilted wristlet instead!!! ( same style you also showed) in the dark beige. I received aYSL box the authenticity cards, dust bag, YSL tissue paper and the YSl price tag sticker in the bag. Plus you can fit so so much in the quilted wristlet

I have the iPhone 12 Pro and I can fit my phone, LV 6 key holder, Lv key pouch, Lv business card holder , lip stick and a big size purse perfume. It even fits the LV mini pochette or LV agenda PM just for ideas.That why I went with the wristlet because I believe I can fit roughly the same in that vs the mini Lou camera

Oh I love the bag! Gorgeous colour and I find it really suits you and looks so nice on you. I’m so sorry about your experience. This is always my reservation with ordering from farfetch or not straight from the designer. When you are paying such a high price you definitely should get the little booklet/ card and I don’t think I could keep it without one….the box would be amazing but you can live without I guess for the discount. If I were you I would ask if you can exchange it :( I would definitely try to keep that bag in your collection - such a nice addition…good luck..

I think that was a return all the Saint Laurent bags I purchased came wrapped and with a little packet with care information no authenticity card.

I would call Farfetch. I recently bought from Farfetch and it came with all the paperwork.. I feel it should come with the little envelope with the style card. They might be able to provide an additional discount..

100% I would contact Farfetch! They didn’t wrap the tassel, no stickers to protect the hardware and you don’t have paperwork to verify purchase/authenticity. I’d ask for a new bag that’s fully intact. Very odd, at that price point the presentation should be much better. You paid a lot for that item. Notwithstanding that, the bag is absolutely beautiful! Definitely has me thinking about upgrading my current camera bag.

Hi, I sadly made a really bad experience with FF. I got a defect pair of Saint Laurent boots I payed €1000 for. First time I wore them the zipper broke and they didn't change them. Worst customer experience. I will never buy from them any again. I got trapped by a youtube discound code but should have gone to the boutique 😔 maybe they dispose better customer service for influencers .....

That’s terrible! YSL bags usually come with the chains wrapped. The authenticity card and care card comes in a small black YSL paper envelope. And the bag is usually stuffed. The tassel should have been wrapped too. Send it back for an exchange. PS the bag is beautiful! And I dream about being 5,7” and flat chested but sadly my genes won’t allow.

Farfetch is always hit and miss because it is just a front for thousands of boutiques. I just bought a ysl from matches fashion and didnt get a ysl box, but it doesnt bother me. I dont think the ysl card matters, they arent individual to the bag like Chanel, just generic. If you got a discount and it is a rare colour i would just enjoy it!

YSL doesn’t come with an authenticity card. Try not to put such an emphasis on packaging, you’ll be wearing the bag and not the packaging.
A lot of people have commented that their items have come with one. I don't mind it not coming with a box or anything, but I really would like all the paperwork it's supposed to have. I'll see though, I have a few days to think about it. It's a beautiful bag!
