    Someone really put a lot of effort into that vehicle. Unusually classy choice of aftermarket parts.

      I think the Aeras version, which this is, came with the bodykit from the factory, so I don't think it had very many aftermarket parts, other than the wheels.

    wow the headlights look a lot better than my 2004's.

    Wow, the price for this in USD comes to about $2000. That is INSANE considering how this car looks to be in great shape with decent mileage and little wear on the interior. $2k wouldn't even buy you a wrecked '95 Camry where I live! Such a shame we have that stupid 25 year rule, for $2k I'd genuinely consider purchasing this car.

    My mom got into a accident 13 months ago. (Date comment was typed: June 8, 2018.) My mom didn't have a scratch but her, 2000 Honda Odyssey (nickname: "OD") was declared totaled. So my parents (my dad was out of town when the accident happened) bought a 2017 Honda Odyssey. (Nickname: "OD 2") My sister, my dad and I really dislike "OD 2". Not my mom, which is what matters. If the US doesn't have the 25 yr. Rule, I would have shown this video to my dad. (The accident also gave my mom PTSD while driving and in a moving vehicle.)

    Perfect size for a minivan. It's a shame North America never got this or the 2nd gen JDM Odyssey

    The Alphard and Vellfire are WAY cooler looking vans IMO. I guess there is a huge market in Japan for this size van, as the Alphard/Vellfire and Estima are similarly sized. I'm also guessing when new the Alphard/Vellfire were a good bit more $$$ than the Estima.

    The U.S. doesn’t get these vans anymore, we only have the ones from the 90’s.

    • @SakurauchiLily
      @SakurauchiLily 6 лет назад

      It was due to the fact that the first generation Previa/Estima did very badly on American crash tests, so Toyota replaced it with the Sienna in America. Ironically that was rated as the best ever crash performance that the IIhS had ever seen at the time.

      The engine is the same as in the Camry and Rav4. So engine parts shouldn't be an issue. Not so sure about the rest of the car though
