I really enjoyed this episode!🙌 The contrast between the two methods was really enlightening-both techniques have such thoughtful approaches! Thanks for the insightful content 👍
My last tracking dog was a mixed breed with no "hunting" breeds in him. I simply exposed him to blood trails with a reward at the end and he became an awesome deer tracking dog.
hey i’ve been wanting to train my duck dog for deer and was looking on amazon at your scents and a lot of people have said the quality has gone done and the scents aren’t as good so now i’m kinda on the fence about ordering it.. most said the older versions were better and now the newer stuff isn’t good so now i’m kinda on the fence about it
Not sure what Amazon says but I bought my tracking scent last year through dogbone and didn't use it until just this week. Day 3 of training my border collie followed a zig zag trail 1032 yards through a marsh in 13 min 45 seconds with the wind at his back...for whatever that's worth

Can you train the same dog to track deer and find sheds?
