How to Pass the Bar Exam on Your First Try (Part I of III)

  • The bar exam is not the same as a law school exam. It’s a completely different animal. You need to focus on three over arching concepts: context, content, and performance. If you fail in any of these concepts, you will likely fail the exam. I was an average student at an average law school. The overall pass rate for the California bar exam that I took was 31%. I passed on my first try and went on to pass two more bar exams in other states. In this three part series, I show you how I leveraged each of the concepts above to pass three bar exams on the first try.

    This was gold. Glad I found your channel! I’m thinking about law school, just took my lsat. Did pretty average. Might re-take.

      Thanks @francoPhysique. There's more to come. I got a low LSAT score and was still able to have a successful and fulfilling career as a lawyer. The LSAT is not determinative, but is a good place to test your interest, skills (at that time) and motivation for going to law school.
