i honestly don't understand why people complain all the time. whenever a band releases a new single with a similar sound to their previous songs, there will be fans who'll complain and say that they don't necessarily enjoy the song because they "sound the same" but if they release one that sounds completely different, there will be fans who will ALSO not necessarily enjoy it because "they've changed" and because "they're not the band they used to remember". just enjoy the music, guys. at least appreciate them for having to release new music for their fans.
Their a kickass band who write kickass songs. This single doesn't show any...let me repeat that ANY signs of slowing that down in any way. someone up top said something along the lines of the single purposely sounding like what came before, in a way, to ease fans into the new material. What a lot of dumbasses forget is that 9 times out of 10 the rest of the album is way better and more than likely different than what we heard from the single. I've loved everything they've put out so far and i'm more than likely gonna dig this new album. Also its kinda their band and not mine, so they can do whatever the fuck they want. Hmm, personally I wouldn't say they abandoned their whole sound but vastly expanded upon their growing flirtationship with shoegaze. Something they explored on songs like 'Head in the Ceiling Fan' and 'In-between' and 'Hypnotize' and even 'Be a Toy.' We already knew Title Fight was capable of making those kinds of jangly, ambient, slower songs and they just completely embraced the shoegaze on Hyperview to brilliant result while still maintaining that punk edge that melodic sound. Instant classic. Favorite album of theirs.

I guess it just feels like this song is playing it safe, as though they've got their audience and now they're going to just make music that doesn't deviate at all, i'll still probably listen to it a bit because it still sounds good, but I would like to hear them try and play around a bit.
If you listen carefully they continue to evolve, this wouldn't fit in on any other album or ep because they sound a little different in each one and this is like a combination of those sounds. And still new
