It seems so crazy- I am 36 years old and everyone is treating me like I'm a relic. At my first midwife appointment she talked about the membrane sweep and how we can move things along because of my age. Last week she doubted me when I said I could feel my baby move (I am 25 weeks). My husband was there and assured her he also feels our baby move when rests a hand on my stomach. I felt really unheard and alarmed. I don't even want to deal with these people anymore. I'd appreciate some prayers for guidance!!

My first hospital birth left me with some trauma and I was pressing in for healing with my second. A few days later at 39 weeks I delivered my baby girl at the birth centre, along with two beautiful midwives, my faith filled doula and supportive husband. My space was protected by everyone in the room for an undisturbed water birth and then physiological third stage too. It was everything I requested and needed. The most spiritually transformative experience of my life! I’m now 5 days pp and still wake to “Goodness of God” swirling around in my mind. Thank you again ❤ God is all over you! x

My first baby was born at the hospital, I was induced and had vaginal birth with epidural, I "had" to be induced due to low platelet count, which is pretty scary because if the platelet is so low, mom can either bleed to death or baby is born with low platelet count issues. My second baby was born at home with midwives, and they were great, but felt the need to give me a shot to help stop the bleeding due to low platelet count as well. This 3rd pregnancy, I also want to have it at home so badly, but I can not find a midwife that has the same beliefs as my family do. The midwives I had during my second pregnancy were great, but unfortunately they're completely against Christ, and that is not what I'm looking for. I'm in Portland, OR so you can imagine what kind of midwives I find here, definitely not Christ centered. I am about to just have the baby on my own at this point, but I am so worried about my platelet count, worried about bleeding to death honestly...but as you mentioned in your beautiful story, trust the Lord and He will provide. You truly gave me a lot of hope and faith that I can do this without medical intervention and with no fear or doubt, because the Holy Spirit sure lives inside of us when we are so close to Christ! may 20 2021 was my first freebirth. it was hard to remind myself that God is with us and is faithful and just to them that believe. I originally planed to have a midwife there but at 34 weeks she told me that I would die in labor if i tried giving birth at home. I knew in my heart the hospital was not an option as the Holly Spirit had warned me to never take a covid test and where i am at they would not see you at the time if you refused to take one. So I knew home birth was my only option. So a freebirth was my only option as my midwife at 34 weeks said she would no longer assist my birth. I trusted in God and His promises and my husband and sister was there to support me as i safely gave birth at home with no complications and no stress. God has seen fit to allow me to carry yet another child and my due date is May24th2022 I am excited to fully plan a freebirth with no midwife. My pregnancy is going so well and I can't wait to meet this little one.
Wow! What an amazing witness. Shame on that midwife but sometimes their fear of litigation and other things get the best of them. So happy to know you followed the Holy Spirit and had the birth of your dreams. Many blessings on this second free birth. Btw did you have a doula?

I had a midwife for the majority of my pregnancy and at about week 39 they backed out, they wanted us to agree to terms that were definitely not okay with us. She also was trying to scare us and say our baby is too big and that we could have diabetes. We absolutely do not want to Birth our son in a hospital so we have decided to do a freebirth at home just me my husband our puppy dog and ofcourse the Lord! Today I am 10 days overdue, and it seems like the fear mongering is coming from all angles but I am keeping focused on the Lord and remembering all His promises He made in His Word! There is NOTHING man can do that God can not!
