I went to one of his concerts in France 2 months ago, and this song was the last song they played... while he got up a message appeared on the white screen which said :

I never cried so much while listening to Joe Hisaishi's music.This man is an angel from another world... he embodies kindness and humanity.
Everytime i see this video, tears comes from my eyes. His music confortable me and keep peace in my heart. Thanks him bring such beautiful melody to the world.

This is the most BEAUTIFUL song I ever heard.
Before the Australian lockdown first started, I got the chance to watch Joe Hisashi live and let me tell you, it was beautiful, especially considering at the time, Australia was still recovering from bushfires. So grateful I got to see this live.

I am blessed to have lived this life knowing the Studio Ghibli films, Hayao Miyazaki and of course, Joe Hisaishi. I would say something like "play this at my wedding" but every time I listen to this song I snob uncontrollably. I can barely articulate why. it just reminds me how beautiful the world is and how thankful I am to have the people I love in my life. I'm not a fan of clichés but I hope one day I get to slow dance to this song with the love of my life whomever that may be.
This is mine and my wife's wedding song. We played this at our wedding during our dance, and much sobbing was had. Much sobbing is had to this day.

JOE HISAISHI STILL REMAINS THE ONLY COMPOSER IN THIS WORLD WHO CAN MAKE ME CRY WITH HIS MUSIC, OMG THIS MAGIC IS ONE THAT WILL BE REMEMBERED.
If you like music that stirs your emotions and also has a story being told within the music I can highly recommend Ennio Morricone. He also has me in tears of all sorts of emotions.

The lyrics add so so so much meaning to the song and by association, the film. These and the lyrics they wrote for Mononoke's Theme are part of the full experience of the movie IMO, like the extended LOTR discs and commentary.

Ghibli movies don't matter your age you always enjoy them and always learn something important to us, Ghibli studio for years taught us how much we should treasure our lives and this beautiful planet, they put so much thoughts into their stories so much effort and hard work that every one of their movies is a masterpiece, the beauty in their backgrounds is outstanding the way they recreated Yakushima island forest for Mononoke Hime left me speechless, they put too much effort and hard work in every single detail, music voice actors story animation all is top-level, I believe for my own taste I prefer a thousand times my children watch studio ghibli than Disney movies and this made me reflect how much our occidental society lost the values and principles that identify a human being if I compare just this I almost want to cry to see how we are just savage wild beasts in cooperation with Japan, I can't find a single one just one occidental movie able to stand up against Mononoke Hime not a single one and being honest is depressing to see what disney movies teach to our children

I showed all the Ghibli movies to my two children. Both of them also self taught pianists. Got them Joe Hisaishi piano solo book and visited the Ghibli Museum in Tokyo🎼☂️🎹❤️🍄We have collected many Studio Ghibli movies dvd and music cd over the years💜
To this day I cannot believe how lucky I am that I've had the absolute privilege to see Joe Hisaishi live.

Joe Hisashi is someone who will make your wish come true just like how he did for Miyazaki.
He interpreted Miyazaki's vision and dreams through music bringing them more life to his animation and more beautification and more connection to the viewers.
