In my old house in California we had hardwood floors and it was an old floor radiator that was about an 18 x 30“ area and a couple other damaged areas on the hardwood floor. We went into a closet and cut all the flooring out and were able to get enough to fix all the other floors and just had to put plywood inside that closet but we were able to fix all the damage everywhere else so it was worth the effort, the good part is the handyman who did it came up with the idea and charged somewhere around $120 to do all the work as well. 🙌🏼 lol but when you have all those nice floors, I would definitely tear out a closet to get enough wood to fix those if not I would even consider taking one bedroom and pulling the wood out and then carpeting that room. I agree with you on the bathroom tile, but it’s definitely not as bad as the old purple carpet. 😂😂
Beautiful work on the rehab of this 5 bedroom home. Noticed the tile on the floor of the kitchen is the same as the back wall of the shower. Really liked the tile in the kitchen and hallway but didn't like the contrast of color in the shower tile. If the shower had all of the Cream color tile it would have looked nicer in my eyes. The backyard with the deck and landscaping is beautiful. It is not often that you get such a big backyard with a property.

Oh, and don't worry about those trees; they are cut correctly and will look fantastic once the leaves grow out. You guys keep up the great work!! I like the black & white foyer tile carried throughout so much of the house. Not crazy about 2 tiles in the tub/shower surround. Prefer the black & white.

Jon, I agree with you on both points 1) we are not living there & 2) tiles waaaý too busy for my style. I like the lighter shade tile in the bathroom. I 🤣, when you said "walk-in closet"(you are correct when you said, you can "walk into it") but by no means that is a real "walk-in" closet..ladies, Rihanna & Baby girl (you with me😉).
This happened to me with 2 bedrooms I put new flooring in so I just took the doors off and shaved 5-10mm of the bottom of the door, very easy, fast solution
I like the house but those tiles are full on especially mixing the two together. I done the same in our house though, I thought I would put one black tile wall and one white (it looked good on pinterest) it looks terrible hahaha!

I was watching one of your older videos on 5 tips to saving money. Can you do a video sometime about tips to save money on purchasing cell phones and how you go about doing that. I know you buy a lot of things used but do you use the App 'Honey" to save on new items?

Bathroom stark tile contrasts with wall paint color is totally off-putting. Instead use different tile styles and sizing within the same color family and avoid large dark tiles with sharp contrasts.
Oh Allie I totally agree. Those do NOT look like pet stains, locations are all wrong for pet. A male dog wouldn't be likely to hike in those locations. A female wouldn't squat there either.
Well initially I didn't like the down floor with so many walls and doors. I do wish the kitchen and dinning hall wld hv been an open space with no walls dividing it but all the same I like the house alot actually. Good job.

I’m with you on the br tiles. Try using low profile ceiling fans. They will look much better and make the room look bigger than the low hanging ones.

Some of the finishes are sub standard, especially the skylight in the upstairs bathroom. The tiling combo in the bathrooms is just wrong.
