As a brit of limited means i appreciate these series kirby does. This channel is the reason i got into having a cigar while enjoying a few beverages among friends. But most of all i really appreciate that its one of our american cousins showcasing the history of our country an highlighting that one of the finest exports we have is pageantry and tipping out hats to the rich history of our traditions. Plus kirbys team does an amazing job on these videos with the editing etc
Casual Jenson Button interview on the next episode. Fantastic work again Kirby. So good to see the quality, craftsmanship and tradition make this channel grow to the size it has
This Goodwood series has by far been the best automotive related series i have seen in a long time. Everything about how that was put together is incredible. Cheers
Absolutely amazing. The interviews were 1st class, and the clothes were spectacular. The Ferrari section was so interesting, and James's knowledge had me sat watching with my mouth open. You certainly do a better job on your videos talking about British things than us Brits. Well done again Kirby.
There is no finer way to spend a weekend than Revival in late summer. It’s one of the highlights of my year. When people ask me what Revival is like I always reply that it’s like living the old black and white pathé news but seeing it in glorious Technicolor. It’s amazing that when you put people in period clothing they develop period attitudes and manners.
Kirby is becoming a Loyalist! 😱 lol All jokes aside, what a phenomenal series Kirby. Thank you for bringing British culture to us - I’m a big fan of it too. God Bless you and your close ones.
Kirby -- keep up the great work; love your channel and also love British craftsmanship, anything British leather works, and British automobiles. I've owned several Jaguar's (there's nothing like the smell of Connolly leather coachwork) and own several Dunhill document leather briefcases and driving gloves. Would love to see you do a video about the history of Dunhill including a video tour visit of Dunhill's Bourdon House which I believe is right down the street from Davidoff. A lot of really neat Dunhill history.
@Kirby Allison you should absolutley check out the Chap Olympiad that the gent at 8:40 mentions. Its British eccentricity at its best, all whilst being immaculately dressed!
Great content and amazing work, Kirby! A recommendation for the next time: onboard footage (a gopro is fine), and clear engine sound (no backgroud music) would be very appreciated, especially when you have the opportunity to be in the presence of such motorsport masterpieces. Thanks.
Great video. Loved it. It inspired me to buy a pair of white sunglasses to go with my 60s look mod style dress with white pvc cap and boots for Goodwood this year!
My favourite video series you have ever done! You really get the feeling of being there across in your videos! Thank you so much for these videos and for your incredibly professional looking channel 😀🤘
The late Graham Hill and Stirling Moss get mentions, but Jenson Button is interviewed with no introduction or explanation? Was this because his racing suit was not period?
There is both at Goodwood. The paddock is where the cars were all parked in their respective bays, however before each race or qualifier, they all move to the assembly area
NO tattoos, NO awful Music, No Plastic Clothes, No sneakers, No piercings, No ugly Cars, No electric Vehicles, No modern Rubbish...........................
Everyone knows the rest of london is awful but if you’re not poor you won’t see or go poor areas so it doesn’t matter. His whole channel is dedicated to middle/upper class what poor person do you see smoking cigars in a silk paisley dress fin gown with a wardrobe of bespoke suits and 6k shoes get with the channel
You're absolutely killing it with this series, Kirby. Top notch! Well done good sir!

Thanks Kirby i collect models from that era. Cheers
This channel just gets better and better. Absolutely love it.
Great as always. Thank you for your great job Kirby. I also enjoy teh Royal Henley Rowing Regatta. Also a traditional event besides rowing.
Such great series! Love Goodwood👍
James is killing it in the British GT championship right now.
OHHHHHHH. MAGNIFICENT VIDEO SERIES MY FRIEND KIRBS!!! WOOOWWW 😁 😊 KIND REGARDS FROM NEW ZEALAND 🇳🇿 😀 😍 😊
This is on another level...
Kirby is becoming a Loyalist! 😱 lol
All jokes aside, what a phenomenal series Kirby. Thank you for bringing British culture to us - I’m a big fan of it too. God Bless you and your close ones.
Are you kidding, Kirby is more loyalist than the British themselves! 😆
@@thechairman74 converts often are more devoted.
@@TheEldarGuy Yeah, I figured that.
Good to see the weather treated you nicely.

I was hoping this was about horse racing, seeing is it the Kentucky Derby is next week. There's certainly a story on attire worth looking into there!
Great presentation…. Fantastic!

Brilliant, Thank you.
Oh, and by the way at the end, Jenson Button! Great ending. Great video!
Fantastic episode. Thank you
WOOOWWW WOOOWWW IM SOOO JELOUS, THE INTERVIEW WITH THE PATRONS WAS INSPIRED KIRBY 😂😂😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤ AWSOME 😊😊😊

Well made and highly..... Enjoyable to watch and listen to..... Thank you*
I really appreciate your content, it inspires me to discover this world for myself and revive myself as a gentle man racer! Excellent 👍
I am watching this with Glenn Miller - In The Mood, playing in my head.
What a fantastic video & series. Should have 100x the views!
I just love this channel.

God damnit Kirby, that car was beautiful, what a great video.
19:40 Girl was impressed ❤
You're dressed amazingly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kirby, great job. Make a story at Royal Ascott this season. Good luck.
Good (wood) video. Interesting and entertaining
Great series so far.
Well done!

It just REALLY would've made it an Occasion IF Bertie Wooster had been there!!!
Well Done!
Quality production
Kirby is so establishment he’d watch Star Wars and root for the empire.
😂😂😂😂😂
Nonsense. But I would have preferred the era of planet Alderaan prior to the end of the Republic.
Omg ^^^
Don’t you ever wish the bad guy would win?
Simon old chap you seemed to have strayed out of your lane. I’m sure the Kardashians have a charming RUclips channel.
The British Burning Man...
I notice lots of people wearing the armband of mourning. What was that for?
I'm guessing that the black armband that William(?) was wearing was for honoring the Queen/her then recent death?
Correct. This was the weekend after she sadly passed away.
Those Ferrari 250GTs are pure pornography. 🥵
I wonder when they started wearing period clothings. I just checked Goodwood videos from 00s and people were dressed casually.
Don't forget you are wearing a hat! Remember when saying hello and goodbye 😉
22:05 the "Barchetta" in the Ferrari 166 Barchetta means little boat not little bird. It's becouse it looks like a little boat
Nice but would have loved to hear more Ferrari engines.
Whose idea was it to put music over the engine sounds?!
500 Mondial matches kirbys hat, white and rec

This is the “coming up next” preview… it’s meant to be that. A preview.
Remember, Kirby, it's called the "paddock", not the assembly area.
There is both at Goodwood. The paddock is where the cars were all parked in their respective bays, however before each race or qualifier, they all move to the assembly area
I would like to hear you pronounce era, "ear-rah" as opposed to Error.
I saw MH434, a famous Spitfire. M.

When I see events like this, I fear someone will enforce diversity on them soon enough.
And what would be so wrong about that? Please take those alt-right stances elsewhere
@@YacDiesel Multiculture is no culture. If this is diversified, it’ll cease to be.
wow its so offending that there is no name credit given to the crew esp. to the camera person.
few of them look passably authentically retro, and it isnt the clothes 😒
