Delroy Lindo is one of those actors that I can actually believe is a "tough guy" or someone who could hold his own in a fight. The dude has charisma and a killer voice on top of it. He always brought a lot of gravitas to his roles.

Imagine trying to 1v1 a man that has increased his strength and speed over 120 times. That's what got me about this movie. He can dodge and deflect bullets. He can send grow men flying with ease. Last thing I would do is go anywhere near him.
That's why Delroy Lindo as Roedecker is easily the most badass character in the movie. A "Badass Normal" as TV Tropes would call it. He has no "the one" powers but he actually manages to get some hits in on him in and survive for over a minute. Nobody else but the Other One even comes close.

@@sandhywinartja8662Because Gabe is also that strong cause all the power was shared equally and Gabe was also a fighter compared to all the other versions that most was just normal while a few probably was dangerous.
Now I do find it weird that gabe won cause he JUST learned he had enhanced powers while Yulaw had years to learn what exactly he can do.

@@sandhywinartja8662 Its the typical martial arts fight where the more aggresive one fights blindly, while the other uses more calm approach that eventually let him win. Yeah I find that typical troupe annoying and I wish the much more aggresive style actually WON the fights cause of the sheer brutality
Jet lis charisma in this scene always gives me a smile. I think Rodecker was in over his head sitting that close and holding up at gunpoint the guy second in line to becoming....the one.

Nice video, execpt thanks for making another video of Jet Li The One today as well. Also, all i know is you can make jet li the one videos, while using a 1080p Full HD Resolution in it so i can see it very well so often etc. Also, still one of my favourite films this year, and the best film i’ve ever had in my life too.

Grabbing the two motorcycles was intense.
The motorcycle-backhand-into-the-chain-screen is still my favorite even more than the double whammy. It's just so fluid! With a motorcycle!

man I feel bad for this intergalactic cop here, hes literally trying every tactic to stop Yulaw and never gave up, I like when they start doing martial arts and after he hit him in the face a bunch, you can see Jet lis expression like it was nothing lol. If I was that cop I wouldve known just to press the button as theres no way to stop him.
You are forgetting that Yulaw was his old partner, so there os that dramatic tension.
Also he wanted to avoid killing him as long as possible because he doesn't know if Jason Stathom's character was ready to or even in a position to kill Gabe yet. So the more time he can stall Yulaw, the better chance he gives to Jason Stathom.

I always was curious if rodecker maybe had to kill a version of himself in the kine of duty and maybe he has a little bit of a buff as well since theres no reason he shouldve given yukaw that much of a fight as a normal human
