Sorry, I would like to ask if I want to use Fluent simulation software to simulate placing an aeration plate under a 3D bubble column, when I pour air with a flow rate of 1m/s into the air hole, I want to see the state of the bubble flow field inside the bubble column. , there are open vents on it, how to set it?
@FluentSetup The bubbles blowing in the liquid should have a velocity and should be injected in the liquid in the form of pulses. For e.g. once in every 5 secs. with some pressure.
@@fluentsetup1232 if it doesn't matter, I would like to suggest by including the theory and how do u obtain the values. For example, porous media: how do we have porosity, permeability etc or non-newtonian fluid, when we should apply it. Anyhow, I'm really² appreciate on ur contribution. Thanks 😊
Unfortunately Im not much of an expert on the theory of flow through porous media or non newtonian fluids, and my pedagogical skills are not the best either(which is why i dont speak on these videos). I'll make a couple of simulation videos on these topics regardless.
@@md.kazimrezachowdhury5744I'm not sure what you mean. I don't find the values on the inlet velocity functions, I just choose them in a way I see fit for the simulation.
@@fluentsetup1232 i was talking about 12:30 timespan in the video. You took some values in the functions. If you please let me know how to take it. Or just give me an idea what should be a bubble size if it takes 20 seconds to reach the surface of 24 inch water column.
@@md.kazimrezachowdhury5744 I took those values arbitrarily. As for the velocity values required for your problem, it is a fairly difficult question, given that the answer it should take into account the dampening of the air velocity once it enters the water and, possibly, a terminal velocity for the bubbles. Maybe you could take a look on the scientific literature to see if there any studies\approximations you can use to estimate the quantities you need. Or maybe you can just use trial and error until you find a bubble size you that gives you a solution close enough to what you want, though that could many simulations to figure out.

Excellent! This is really helpful. Can you make one for pulsating gas injection into water....
I´ll keep it in the list of simulations i have in mind, it would be great if you could give me more details though.

hello. why did you use VOF model? Is Euler- euler model more suitable?
Hi, good job 👍👍👍. Can u consider water flow through porous media for the next simulation?
Sure, there are other videos i ve made and need to upload before making more, so i think by the end of the week i could upload something like that

Hi, I just wanted to know how to find the values of the "if" in the functions for different dimensions and the velocity in the three inlets.
I'm not sure I understand the question, can you elaborate?

Hello sir, I want to creat small bubbles in my simulation, I am unable to do, can you give me some tips for small bubble formation just like you did
were you able to create bubbles? i am having the same issue
