A home care nurse is caring for a post op patient who had hemorrhoidectomy. Which of the following should the nurse include in the teaching plan for this patient? A. Drink 3 cups of coffee a day. B. It is normal to have dark, tarry stools. C. Eat small, frequent meals D. Take ibuprofen regularly for pain What would you say the answer is for this question, thank you.
not all RBCs will sickle in patients at the same time, so despite the crisis, there are STILL some RBCs that will remain normal. By increasing the Oxygen concentration in the alveoli (giving higher concentration of O2), you are increasing the delivery of O2 via those RBCs. And yes, tending to circulatory needs is important but increasing the oxygen is quick and easy. Circulation will take time so give o2 first and than fluid .
She’s making rounds all around the world 🌎! We are using her in class, my cousins professors are using her 🎉❤❤❤ YOU GO GIRL 🎉

Be sure to choose that as your answer on NCLEX
To choose the oxygen first or the fluid as you said ?
